It was originally released as a PC game for CD-ROM on December 13, 2002, and subsequently re-released on DVD-ROM and for the PlayStation 2 with certain scenes removed. The title Popotan is a nonsensical word meant to reflect the prominence of dandelions, spelled tanpopo (たんぽぽ) in Japanese; Petit Ferret also produced a fan disc shortly before the DVD-ROM re-release. _Summer, also known as Underbar Summer, is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Hooksoft which was released on July 15, 2005, playable on Windows as a CD; a PlayStation 2 consumer console port called _Summer## followed on August 24, 2006, by GN Software. An updated version of the original game, called _Summer Renewal Edition, which is compatible up to Windows Vista as a DVD, was released on December 21, 2007.

School Days is a Japanese slice-of-life eroge visual novel game developed by 0verflow, released in April 2005, for Windows. It was later remade as a DVD game and ported to PlayStation 2 (PS2) and PlayStation Portable (PSP). The story follows Makoto Ito, a high school student who becomes the love interest of several girls during his second term. School Days has multiple endings depending on the player's choices. Some of these endings later became notorious for their graphic violence.

<i>Gift</i> (2005 video game) 2005 Japanese adult visual novel

Gift is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Moonstone and released on May 27, 2005, for Windows. The original game was a collaboration project where the company Circus helped to produce it, though Moonstone did the majority of the work involved. Gift is Moonstone's fourth title, and was followed up with an adult fan disc called Gift Rainbow-colored Stories released on January 27, 2006, for Windows. It was later ported to the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. The gameplay in Gift follows a plot line which offers pre-determined scenarios with courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the five female main characters. Maple Colors is a Japanese erotic visual novel and adventure game developed by Apricot and published by CrossNet, released on July 25, 2003 for Windows. The game was later ported to the PlayStation 2 by HuneX and published by Kadokawa Shoten on March 31, 2005; adapted into a two-episode animated series by Image House and localized in North America by Critical Mass, and in Australia by Siren Visual. A sequel, Maple Colors 2, was released in 2008.

Baldr Sky is a duology of Japanese adult visual novels with 2D action elements developed by Giga. The series characterizes itself as a cyberpunk action adventure game. The first game, named Baldr Sky Dive1 "Lost Memory” was released in Japan on March 27, 2009, for Windows. The second game, Baldr Sky Dive2 "Recordare" was released in Japan on November 27, 2009. The story, a mostly comedic slice-of-life, centers on Kazuma Hoshino, an adolescent boy who moves into rural Japan with his brother, and the personal and romantic encounters he has with a handful of the female residents there. Though the game requires little interaction from users, Hoshikaka engages the player through a nonlinear plot that they are given opportunities to change the course of during play.

<i>21: Two One</i> 2001 video game

21: Two One is a Japanese murder mystery visual novel developed by BasiL, it was first released as an adult PC game for Microsoft Windows on May 25, 2001. 21: Two One was later released for the Dreamcast by PrincessSoft on December 27, 2001. The game is the second installment by BasiL, and after the completion of 21: Two One, BasiL went on to create their third and final eroge, Cherry Petals Fall Like Teardrops, before forming a new company called Navel. The story follows a young man called Takuya Kirishima, who is a talented surgeon and works in a hospital with his childhood friend Seri Sakaki, however, one day a murder is committed at the hospital, and Takuya tries to solve the mystery. Gameplay in 21: Two One offers branching plot lines, and a multi-choice navigation, where the player can attain multiple endings.

Chiyoda, known as Chiyoda City in English, is a special ward of Tokyo, Japan. Located in the heart of Tokyo's 23 special wards, Chiyoda consists of the Imperial Palace and a surrounding radius of about a kilometer, and is known as the political and financial center of Japan. As of October 2020, the ward has a population of 66,680, and a population density of 5,709 people per km2, making it by far the least populated of the special wards. The residential part of Chiyoda is at the heart of Yamanote, Tokyo's traditional upper-class residential area, with Banchō, Kōjimachi, and Kioichō considered the most exclusive neighbourhoods in the entire city. The total area is 11.66 km2, of which the Imperial Palace, Hibiya Park, National Museum of Modern Art, and Yasukuni Shrine take up approximately 2.6 km2, or 22%.

<i>Lost Sphear</i> 2017 video game

Lost Sphear is a role-playing video game developed by Tokyo RPG Factory and published by parent company Square Enix for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows. It was released in Japan in 2017, and worldwide in 2018. Set in a world where the Moon is treated as a deity, the player takes on the role of Kanata, who is granted the power to prevent the world from vanishing. The gameplay has Kanata and his party exploring different regions of the world to restore vanished zones, with combat making use of a version of the Active Time Battle system.
