Super Show 7 was the third world concert tour and seventh tour overall by South Korean boy band Super Junior, in support of their eighth studio album, Play . The world tour commenced with three shows in Seoul from December 15 to 17, 2017 and hit a total of 120 concerts for its Super Show series. [1] [2]

Contents

This tour marks the return of members Siwon, Eunhyuk and Donghae, who had been away serving two years of mandatory military service. [3] Ryeowook joined the tour in November 2018 following his military discharge.

Concerts

The tour was announced on November 10, 2017, after Super Junior started the promotion for their eighth studio album, Play. [4] Tickets for the December 16–17 "Super Show 7 Concert Tour" in Seoul, went on sale on November 21, 2017, [4] and were sold out in nine minutes.

Later, the group added one more concert on December 15, 2017, due to high demand. The tickets went on sale on November 26. The concert on December 15, 2017, marked the 120th Super Show concert in the Super Show series. [1] [2]

The concert in Singapore was announced on December 1, by ONE Production. It had been two years since Super Junior had previously performed in Singapore. The Bangkok show on January 28 was played to 10,000 people and was sold out in five minutes. [5]

Super Junior , also known as SJ or SuJu, is a South Korean boy band. The group is composed of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin were originally part of the group before departing in 2011, 2015 and 2019, respectively. South Korean boyband Super Junior had appeared in 83 music videos, most of which were in starring roles. Some of their music video has received recognition from critics and awarding bodies. The music video for "U", released in 2006, won the Popular Music Video Award at the 2006 edition of Golden Disc Awards. In 2009, they released the music video for "Sorry, Sorry" in support of their third album, Sorry, Sorry. The music video which features the song's dance routine was an instant hit in South Korea and skyrocketed their popularity in Asia. In 2020, it was listed as one of Globe Telecom's Iconic K-Pop Music Video. "Mr. Simple" music video, released in 2011 to support the album of the same name, won the 2011 Mashable Awards in the Viral Video of the Year category, won the 2012 Myx Music Awards's Favourite K-Pop Video, and was the recipient of the YouTube K-Pop Awards in the Most Viewed Video of The Year category. "Sexy, Free & Single" won three accolades; the 2013 Myx Music Awards's Favourite K-Pop Video, the Singapore's e-Awards in the Most Popular Music Video in K-pop category, and Favorite Asian Music Video in You2Play Awards. In 2018, music video for "Black Suit" won the International Video of the Year, also in the Myx Music Awards.

The Super Show was the first Asia-wide live concert tour by South Korean boy band, Super Junior. The tour commenced five months after the release of the group's second studio album, Don't Don. The concert covers most songs from the group's first two studio albums, including their hit single, "U," and also subgroup hits from Super Junior-K.R.Y., Super Junior-T, and Super Junior-M. The tour kicked off with three stops in South Korea and expanded its routes to Thailand and China.

Bonamana is the fourth studio album by South Korean boy band Super Junior. It is the first album with ten out of the original 13 members to take part, also marking the first album not to feature all active members. It was first released as Version A, on May 13, 2010, by SM Entertainment. This was followed by Version B on May 20, which included behind-the-scenes photos from their stage performances and music video shoots. A repackaged version C was released on June 28, with four new tracks including follow-up single "No Other".

"Lo Siento" is a trilingual song that was recorded by South Korean boy band Super Junior. The song features Dominican-American singer Leslie Grace and producers Play-N-Skillz; it was released on Replay (2018), a repackaged version of the band's eighth studio album Play (2017). SM Entertainment, Label SJ and iriver released the track as the album's lead single on April 12, 2018. Daniel "Obi" Klein, Charli Taft, Andreas Oberg, and Juan "Play" and Oscar "Skillz" Salinas composed the song, and its lyrics were written in Korean, Spanish and English by Kenzie, Mario Caceres, Yasmil Marrufo, Grace, as well as Super Junior members Heechul and Eunhyuk. The song describes love at first sight; it marks the band's first collaboration with foreign artists and their first venture into Latin pop.
