Star is a compilation album released by the South Korean boyband Super Junior on 27 January 2021 in Japan under the label Avex Trax. The album compiled the band's past Japanese and Korean singles that were released since 2013. It peaked at number 3 on Oricon Daily Chart on the day of its release. [1]
Since the released of their last Japanese EP I Think U , the band Super Junior had released two singles through their subunits. Super Junior-K.R.Y. released Traveler in October 2020 and Super Junior-D&E released Wings in November 2020. [2] [3] Star was described as the final piece to be released to complete the trilogy. [4]
Star was released on 27 January 2021, [4] as a compilation album to celebrate the band's 15th anniversary. [5] The album compiled the band's previous singles and featured two new tracks. The title track, "Star" is described as an up-tempo dance song with exciting beat and playful melody. The song's lyrics represent the beginning of a new adventure and aiming for the stars; expressing gratitude to their fans and wishes to continue their journey together. [4] The other track is a solo song self-written by Leeteuk. The song was previously sung by the artist during his fan meeting tour in 2016 but was never officially released. [6] The album peaked at number three on Billboard Japan Top Album Sales chart on its first week of sales, selling 24,200 copies. [7]

Back Number is a Japanese rock power trio formed in 2004. The group consists of Iyori Shimizu, Kazuya Kojima, and Hisashi Kurihara (drums). The group signed to independent record label Idolsmith Recordings in 2009 and released their debut EP Nogashita Sakana (2009) and studio album Ato no Matsuri (2010). They signed to Universal Sigma in 2011.

Tokyo Singing is the fifth studio album by Japanese band Wagakki Band. Pedro is a Japanese rock band led by vocalist and bassist Ayuni D. Formed in 2018 as Ayuni D's solo project outside of Bish, she is currently supported by Hisako Tabuchi of Number Girl on guitar and Yumao of hitorie on drums. They released their debut EP in September 2018 and continued to release music until the end of 2021. Following a one and a half year hiatus, Pedro resumed activities in mid-2023 after Bish disbanded. They have released four studio albums, two EPs, and three singles.
Kizuna is the second studio album by the Japanese boy band JO1. It includes songs from their previous EP singles, Challenger, Stranger, and Wandering. "Magic" is a single released by South Korean boy band Super Junior on September 16, 2015. It is the lead single of the repackage album of the same name. The single is the last single to feature the vocals of Kangin before his hiatus in 2017 and eventual departure from the group in 2019. Additionally, this single was the group's last release before the majority of its members are undergoing their mandatory military service.
