"Magic" is a single released by South Korean boy band Super Junior on September 16, 2015. It is the lead single of the repackage album of the same name. The single is the last single to feature the vocals of Kangin before his hiatus in 2017 and eventual departure from the group in 2019. [2] Additionally, this single was the group's last release before the majority of its members are undergoing their mandatory military service.

The single was then released in Japanese on January 6, 2016, alongside "Devil", and both tracks were later featured on the band's Japanese compilation album, Star . [3] [4]

Composition

"Magic" has the same love-related themes as the four new tracks on the repackaged album. The single has groovy sounds with funky guitars and bass. [5]

Music video

The music video for "Magic" was released on the same day as the single's release on September 16, 2015.

The music video shows the members trying to outdo one another to impress and grab a girl's attention. Eventually, Kangin won in the end. [6]

Lee Dong-hae, referred to as Donghae, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer, and actor. He became a trainee under SM Entertainment after winning a prize at SM's Youth Best Contest in 2001. After four years of training, Donghae debuted as a member of boy group Super Junior in November 2005. In July 2023, Lee left SM Entertainment, although he remains as a member of Super Junior. Two months later, Lee along with Eunhyuk founded new label ODE.ent to managed his solo activities as well as D&E's activities and he also charges as a Co-CEO of the label.

South Korean boyband Super Junior had appeared in 83 music videos, most of which were in starring roles. Some of their music video has received recognition from critics and awarding bodies. The music video for "U", released in 2006, won the Popular Music Video Award at the 2006 edition of Golden Disc Awards. In 2009, they released the music video for "Sorry, Sorry" in support of their third album, Sorry, Sorry. The music video which features the song's dance routine was an instant hit in South Korea and skyrocketed their popularity in Asia. Don't Don is the second studio album by South Korean boy band Super Junior. It was released in South Korea through SM Entertainment on September 20, 2007. It marked the first album as thirteen members with the addition of Kyuhyun a year prior. Stylistically, Don't Don encompasses various musical styles such as alternative rock, modern R&B and retro dance-pop, with almost all tracks in the album containing string sections. Ahead of the official release, SM Entertainment released the single "One More Chance" on October 30, 2017. The album features the vocals of only seven Super Junior members. Only six members promoted the album formally: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Donghae, Shindong, and Eunhyuk. Vocals belonging to Kyuhyun and Siwon can also be heard on the album. "Lo Siento" is a trilingual song that was recorded by South Korean boy band Super Junior. The song features Dominican-American singer Leslie Grace and producers Play-N-Skillz; it was released on Replay (2018), a repackaged version of the band's eighth studio album Play (2017). SM Entertainment, Label SJ and iriver released the track as the album's lead single on April 12, 2018. Daniel "Obi" Klein, Charli Taft, Andreas Oberg, and Juan "Play" and Oscar "Skillz" Salinas composed the song, and its lyrics were written in Korean, Spanish and English by Kenzie, Mario Caceres, Yasmil Marrufo, Grace, as well as Super Junior members Heechul and Eunhyuk.
