The 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames is an upcoming professional wrestling event produced by the American promotion WWE. It will be the 38th annual Survivor Series, the third annual specifically as "WarGames", and it will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The event will air via pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming and will feature wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event will be based around the WarGames match, a team-based steel cage match where the roofless cage surrounds two rings placed side by side.
This will be the third Survivor Series to take place in Canada, after 1997 and 2016, but the first to be held in Vancouver. It will thus be WWE's first PPV event in Vancouver since Rock Bottom: In Your House in 1998, which was held at the same venue when it was still known as General Motors Place. This will also be WWE's final major PPV and livestreaming event to broadcast on the WWE Network in international markets, as its content will merge under Netflix in January 2025.
Survivor Series is an annual professional wrestling event produced every November by the American promotion WWE since 1987, generally held the week of Thanksgiving. The second longest running pay-per-view (PPV) event in history (behind WWE's WrestleMania), it is one of the promotion's five biggest events of the year, along with WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and Money in the Bank, referred to as the "Big Five". [1] [2] The event was previously characterized by having Survivor Series matches, which were tag team elimination matches that typically featured teams of four or five wrestlers against each other. [3] In 2022, the event was rebranded as "Survivor Series: WarGames" and instead of Survivor Series matches, the annual event became based around the WarGames match, a type of steel cage match where teams face each other in a roofless cage that surrounds two rings placed side by side. WWE's developmental brand NXT previously held an annual WarGames event from 2017 to 2021 before the match became a part of Survivor Series. [4]
On August 1, 2024, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque announced that the 38th annual Survivor Series, and third annual as WarGames, would be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and feature wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. This will be the third Survivor Series to take place in Canada, after 1997 and 2016, but the first to be held in Vancouver. [5] It will thus be the first WWE PPV event in the city since Rock Bottom: In Your House in 1998, which was held at the same venue when it was still known as General Motors Place. [6]
The event will air on traditional PPV worldwide and the livestreaming services Peacock in the United States and WWE Network in most international markets—including the Canadian version which is distributed by venue sponsor Rogers Communications. [7] [8] This will therefore be the final Survivor Series to air on the WWE Network as its content will move to Netflix in international markets in January 2025. [9]
The event will include matches that result from scripted storylines. Results are predetermined by WWE's writers on the Raw and SmackDown brands, [10] [11] while storylines are produced on WWE's weekly television shows, Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown . [12]

The first No Mercy was held on May 16, 1999, in Manchester, England, and was the only No Mercy event produced in the United Kingdom. A second No Mercy was then held in October that year in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Beginning with this second event, No Mercy became the annual October pay-per-view (PPV) until 2008. The event was then discontinued and replaced by Hell in a Cell in 2009. After eight years, No Mercy was reinstated in October 2016. However, No Mercy was again discontinued after the September 2017 event, as WWE reduced the amount of yearly PPVs held after they had ended the production of brand-exclusive PPVs following WrestleMania 34 in 2018. In 2023, WWE again revived the event, this time for its developmental brand, NXT, in September.

Held in November generally the week of Thanksgiving, it is the second longest-running pay-per-view (PPV) event in history, behind WWE's flagship event, WrestleMania. The Elimination Chamber is a professional wrestling elimination-based match held in the WWE. The match was created by Triple H, and introduced by Eric Bischoff in November 2002. It features a large chain-linked circular steel structure which encloses the ring. The chamber's floor is platformed over the ringside area which elevates it to ring level. Within the chamber are four inner enclosures outside each ring corner. While similar in profile and nature to WWE's original large scale steel-structured match Hell in a Cell, the Elimination Chamber match is a multiple participant match wherein two participants begin the match in the ring as the remaining four are held within each inner enclosure and are released into the match at five-minute intervals. The objective is to eliminate each opponent from the match via pinfall or submission. The winner is the last remaining participant after all others have been eliminated. As in the Hell in a Cell match, disqualifications do not apply. The original structure was 16 ft (4.9 m) high, 36 ft (11 m) in diameter, weighed over 10 short tons (9,100 kg) and comprised 2 mi (3.2 km) and 6 short tons (5,400 kg) of chain. Before the establishment of the yearly Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) in 2010, the match was contested at other PPV events. There have been 32 Elimination Chamber matches in WWE since the concept's inception in November 2002. Every Elimination chamber match has had a stipulation that the winner would win a championship or a future match for a championship.
WWE Bad Blood is a professional wrestling event produced by WWE, a Connecticut-based professional wrestling promotion. The event was first held in October 1997 when the promotion was still called the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and that first event was held as the 18th In Your House pay-per-view (PPV) event. After six years and after the promotion had been renamed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Bad Blood returned as its own PPV event in June 2003, replacing King of the Ring. In 2005, One Night Stand replaced Bad Blood; Vengeance had also moved to June that year as The Great American Bash moved to July. Bad Blood had been announced to be revived in 2017; however, these plans were scrapped in favor of an event titled Great Balls of Fire. After a 20-year hiatus, Bad Blood was scheduled to return in October 2024, and will be the first Bad Blood to air on WWE's livestreaming platforms.

It was the first King of the Ring PPV and tournament held under the WWE name after the promotion had been renamed from World Wrestling Federation (WWF) to WWE the previous month. Although the tournament continued to be held periodically, this was the final King of the Ring event to be produced as a PPV until 2024. The King of the Ring's June PPV slot was replaced by Bad Blood in 2003.
