Sushant University, formerly Ansal University (AU) is a private university [1] situated in Gurgaon, National Capital Region (NCR), India. It was established in 2012 through the Haryana Private Universities Act (Amendment) 2012, [2] . It was previously a private college affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, established in August 2000 under the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust. [3] In 2020 it was renamed to its current name, [4] under the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2020. [5]
Sushant University is located in the foothills of Aravalli Range on the Golf Course Road [6] with facilities on a 15-acre (61,000 m2) campus.
As of 2024, 22 languages have been classified as recognised languages under the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India. There is no designated national language of India.

Institutes of National Importance receive special recognition, higher autonomy, and direct funding from the Government of India. Some of India's highest ranked universities, including all of the IITs, NITs, AIIMSs,IISERs and IIMs, have this status.
Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) are centrally funded technical institutes located across India. They are a group of 26 interdisciplinary technology-based-engineering research institutions in India which are focused on information technology. Five(5) Institutes of them are established, Fully funded and managed by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Gov. of India. It was established in 2012 by State Legislature under Haryana Private Universities Act 32 of 2006 (Amendment) Act 2010. MVNU is part of Modern Vidya Niketan Society, the managing body. It offers wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.

PDM University is a co-educational private university from the state of Haryana, India. The university has its campus in Bahadurgarh, Delhi NCR. The University has been established by the Haryana State Legislature under the Haryana Private Universities Act No. 32 of 2006, as amended by the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment), Act, 2015 and notified in the Haryana Govt. Gazette (Extra) Notification No. Leg.2/2016, dated 14 January 2016. The University has also been recognised by UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. The University is established and managed by Prabhu Dayal Memorial Religious & Educational Association (PDMREA).
P P Savani University is a private university located in Dhamdod, Kosamba, Surat district, Gujarat, India. The university was established in 2017 through the Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2017, which was passed in March 2017 and also established Swarnim Startup & Innovation University, Karnavati University and Indrashil University. The university is accredited by NAAC B++. The first convocation was held in 2020.
Al-Falah University (AFU) is a private university located in Faridabad, Haryana, India. The university was established in 2014 by the Al-Falah Charitable Trust through The Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014. Like all universities in India, AFU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Starex University is a private university located in the village Binola, Gurgaon district, Haryana, India. The university was established in 2016 by the Starex group through The Haryana Private Universities Act, 2016, which was passed in August 2016, making it the 20th private university to be established through The Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006.
World University of Design (WUD) is a private university located in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, Haryana, India. The university was established in 2018 through The Haryana Private Universities Act 2017 following the passing of the Bill in October 2017. It claims to be "India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain".
The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a group of autonomous government public medical universities of higher education under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS New Delhi, the forerunner institute, was established in 1956. Since then, 24 more institutes were announced.
Rishihood University is an Indian private university located in Sonipat, Haryana. It was established in 2020 by the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2020 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly.
