TRT INT was a Turkish television station part of the TRT.
TRT INT started broadcasting in 1990 as TRT 5, and is now TRT's extensively watched TV station. As an international channel it broadcasts a selection of TRT's programming.
TRT INT aims to provide a continuance of the ties of Turkish citizens living outside Turkey with Turkey and Turkish culture as well as promoting Turkey and Turkish people's image in every sphere, enhancing the level of education and culture. The Channel is designed to act as a liaison for Turkish citizens living abroad by helping them in various problems they may face abroad; which is why, keeping them in touch with Turkish Republic while, for a better integrity, trying to get them accustomed to the culture they live in forms a significant task for TRT INT.
The Schedule contains education, culture, drama, entertainment, music and sports programs and news with commercial breaks. TRT closed this channel in 2009 and in 2015 TRT World replaced TRT int. The new channel aims to serve much more globalized and polished news programme. [1]
The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation is the national public broadcaster of Turkey, founded in 1964. TRT was for many years the only television and radio provider in Turkey. Before the introduction of commercial radio in 1990, and subsequently commercial television in 1992, it held a monopoly on broadcasting. More recent deregulation of the Turkish television broadcasting market produced analogue cable television. The Southeastern Anatolia Project is a multi-sector integrated regional development project based on the concept of sustainable development for the 9 million people (2005) living in the Southeastern Anatolia region of Turkey. The total cost of the project is over 100 billion Turkish lira (TL), of which 30.6 billion TL of this investment was realized at the end of 2010. The real investment was 72.6% for the end of 2010. The project area covers nine provinces which are located in the basins of the Euphrates and Tigris and in Upper Mesopotamia.
TRT 1 is the first Turkish national television channel, owned by state broadcaster TRT. It was launched on 31 January 1968 as a test broadcast and was officially launched in December 1971. It was the only channel in Turkey until 15 September 1986, when TRT launched its second channel, 2. Kanal. It is also available in Azerbaijan on terrestrial television.

ERT3 is a Greek free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation. TRT Kurdî is the first national television station that broadcasts in Kurdish dialect of Kurmanji and in Zazaki. On the channels sixth anniversary it changed its name from TRT 6 into TRT Kurdi. The channel has been mostly met with criticism from the Kurdish population in Turkey on various grounds, including accusations of being a mouthpiece for the government. A 2018 survey asking Kurds about TRT Kurdî showed that a majority (59%) did not trust the channel.
TRT Türk is the international TV channel of the TRT, which is broadcast to other countries. TRT Türk's task is to enhance the understanding of the possibilities Turkey and Turkic republics may possess or take advantage of in various fields through the programs aiming at the Caucasus and Central Asia. The task is also promoting the image of Turkish people in a multi-dimensional way. TRT Türk has been intended to become the Turkic World's common channel. Within this framework the channel is planning to schedule programs produced by other Turkic republics along with joint-productions.

İTÜ TV is the first Turkish television station. The first Turkish television broadcast occurred on July 9, 1952, from a station at Istanbul Technical University's electrical engineering department. Weekly two-hour broadcasts from ITU continued on an experimental basis, but by 1957 there were still fewer than 200 television receivers in Istanbul. ITU broadcasts continued until 1970, and in 1971 ITU's facilities and equipment were ordered to be transferred to the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation, and ITU TV was closed down forever. By 1991, ITU TV was replaced by a new channel called Show TV.
TRT World is a Turkish public broadcaster international news channel which broadcasts in English 24 hours a day, operated by the TRT and based in Taksim Square, Istıklal Avenue, Beyoğlu, Istanbul. It provides worldwide news and current affairs focusing on Turkey, Europe, Africa, and Western and Southern Asia. In addition to its Istanbul headquarters, TRT World has broadcasting centres and studios in Washington D.C., London, and Singapore. It is a member of the Association for International Broadcasting.
TRT EBA TV is a Turkish world educational television network, owned by state broadcaster TRT. It was launched on 20 March 2020 as a test broadcast and was officially launched on 23 March 2020. The channel was founded following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Turkey which resulted in all schools moving to distance learning on 16 March. The channel focuses on education and broadcasts school lessons for primary, secondary and high school students through separate channels, which are supported by the digital Eğitim Bilişim Ağı (EBA) system.
