The TVB Anniversary Award for Best Drama Series is one of the TVB Anniversary Awards presented annually by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) to producers who have created the most outstanding television drama series aired on the designated year. This award is usually reserved to be one of the last presented, and is considered to be one of the most premier awards of the ceremony.
The award has changed names several times since its institution in 1997. It was first called the Most Popular Television Programme of Hong Kong — Drama (全港最受歡迎電視節目—戲劇類) in 1997, but was changed to My Favourite Television Programme — Drama (我最喜愛的電視節目—戲劇節目) in 1998. The name was finally changed to Best Drama Series (最佳劇集) in 2005.

Julian Cheung Chi-lam, better known by his stage name Chilam, is a Hong Kong singer and actor. In 2011, she won Best Actress for her role in Curse of the Royal Harem, Most Favourite TV Female Character for her role in Ghetto Justice and also "Extraordinary Elegant Actress" at the TVB Anniversary Awards 2011, making her the first ever Triple TV Queen of the year.
Sheren Tang Shui-man is a Hong Kong actress. She is best known for her roles in the mega-hit Hong Kong TVB drama series War and Beauty, as well as La Femme Desperado, The Family Link, Rosy Business and No Regrets being the first Hong Kong actress to win the Best Actress Award in two consecutive years for the latter two.
Steven Ma Chun-wai is a Hong Kong actor and singer. In 1993, Ma won a record deal after winning first place at an annual singing contest in Hong Kong, later releasing his debut album, Lucky for Meeting You (幸運就是遇到你), that December. Not long after his singing debut, Ma joined TVB and began filming television dramas, later achieving fame through his supporting role in 1995's legal drama File of Justice IV. Ma currently holds the record for holding the most "Favourite Character" awards with a total of four recognitions. The TVB Anniversary Awards, officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honouring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo. The TVB Anniversary Awards are only one of three TVB awards given out.
