Take This to Heart Records, sometimes abbreviated as TTTH or T3H, is an American independent record label.
Take This to Heart Records was founded by Joe Urban in Boston, Massachusetts in 2012. Prior to founding the label, Urban toured with bands and worked at Zing Recording Studios in Westfield, Massachusetts; it was at Zing where he was inspired to start a label for smaller artists. [1] [2] The name came from a brainstorming session where Urban reportedly said, "I really want people to take these records to heart." [2] Urban drew influence from labels like Saddle Creek, Vagrant, Drive-Thru, and Asian Man Records. [1] Since January 2017, the label has had a distribution deal with Alternative Distribution Alliance, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. [3]
The label has released records by artists including Bent Knee, The Higher, McCafferty, Save Face, Jetty Bones, and Super American. Their roster includes artists in alternative rock, punk rock, post-hardcore, pop rock, power pop, and emo. [1] [2]
In 2022, the label released the compilation album A Monument To Commemorate Our Time: A Tribute To Lifted by Bright Eyes, a collection of covers from the band Bright Eyes' album Lifted or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground . Contributors to the album included John-Allison Weiss, Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years, Rat Tally, Riverby, and Sarah and the Safe Word, and proceeds were donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Kill Rock Stars is an independent record label founded in 1991 by Slim Moon and Tinuviel Sampson, and based in both Olympia, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. The label has released a variety of work in different genres, but was originally known for its commitment to underground punk rock bands and the Olympia area music scene.
Alternative Tentacles is an independent record label established in 1979 in San Francisco, California. It was used by Dead Kennedys for the self-produced single "California Über Alles". After realizing the potential for an independent label, they released records for other bands as well. Dead Kennedys guitarist East Bay Ray and vocalist Jello Biafra formed Alternative Tentacles, but Biafra became the sole owner in the mid-1980s. Alternative Tentacles no longer owns the rights to Dead Kennedys recordings after a 2000 lawsuit.
Yellowcard is an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. The lineup currently consists of lead singer Ryan Key, lead guitarist Ryan Mendez, bassist Josh Portman and violinist Sean Mackin. Primarily a pop-punk group, their music is recognized for having a distinct sound in its genre, primarily due to the prominent use of a violin in their songs, and are best known for their singles "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", and "Lights and Sounds". Released in 2003, "Ocean Avenue" and its parent album of the same name are both certified double platinum in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA); "Only One" and the band's 2006 album Lights and Sounds have been certified gold. The band has released ten studio albums, with its most recent, Yellowcard, released on September 30, 2016. Following this release and supporting tour, the band broke up. The band reunited in September 2022 for a performance at Riot Fest and embarked on a 20th-anniversary tour for Ocean Avenue in 2023. A new EP, Childhood Eyes, was released on July 21, 2023.
Dicks were an American punk rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 1980 and initially disbanded in 1986. After the first breakup, singer Gary Floyd formed the band Sister Double Happiness, with drummer Lynn Perko, then later fronted a project called Black Kali Ma. In 2004, The Dicks reunited and were active until 2016.
Chiswick Records was a British independent record label. Established in 1975, Chiswick was the "first true 'indie' label to be established in Britain for nearly a decade". The label has been described as "significant" in the "punk era". It released some of the earliest records recorded by The Hammersmith Gorillas, The Count Bishops, Motörhead, Joe Strummer’s The 101ers, The Damned, Skrewdriver, Billy Bragg, Kirsty MacColl, and Shane MacGowan.

Mondo Bizarro is the twelfth studio album by American punk rock band Ramones, released on September 1, 1992, by Radioactive Records. It is the first studio album to feature their new bassist, C.J. Ramone, who replaced original member Dee Dee Ramone. The album was re-released in the UK by the Captain Oi! record label on August 10, 2004, with the band's cover of the Spider-Man theme song included as a bonus track.

Triple Crown Records is a New York–based rock music record label created in 1997 by Fred Feldman. The label features such artists as The Receiving End of Sirens and The Dear Hunter, and launched the career of Brand New in 2001. It is a part of the Eastwest family of record labels, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, and is distributed by the Alternative Distribution Alliance.
Fearless Records is an American independent record label that was founded in 1994. Fearless is based in Culver City, California, and is best known for its early pop punk moments captured in the Fearless Flush Sampler and Punk Bites releases, as well as additional releases by bands such as Bigwig and Dynamite Boy; and later Sugarcult; Plain White T's; The Aquabats; Amely; and post-hardcore releases by At the Drive-In and Anatomy of a Ghost. However, the label has experimented with different styles in recent years. Acts such as Blessthefall, The Word Alive, Ice Nine Kills, Mayday Parade, Pierce The Veil, Starset, The Pretty Reckless, Underoath and The Color Morale have showcased post-hardcore, metalcore, hard rock and alternative rock bands that have emerged in recent years. Fearless Records' releases were distributed in the US by RED Distribution, but after Concord Music Group's purchase of the label in 2015, it is now distributed by Universal Music Group worldwide.

Lynn Perko-Truell is an American musician, best known as the drummer, bass guitarist, and co-singer for the San Francisco indie rock band Imperial Teen. She is also known as the drummer for the San Francisco-based blues grunge band Sister Double Happiness, and the San Francisco version of the hardcore punk band The Dicks. Perko-Truell was an iconic figure and a pioneering female in the American hardcore punk and alternative rock movements of the 1980s and 1990s and remains active.

ADA provides "independent artist and label partners with access to the resources, relationships and experience required to share their creative vision with a global audience."
The discography of Cave In, an American rock band, consists of seven studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, seven EPs, three singles, three splits, eight compilation contributions and three music videos. Cave In formed in 1995 in Methuen, Massachusetts, where thereafter they began releasing several split singles and demos that eventually culminated in the 1998 compilation album Beyond Hypothermia. Cave In's first studio album, Until Your Heart Stops, was released later in 1998 through Hydra Head Records. These early releases from the band are often considered important albums in developing the metalcore genre. The band gradually began to move away from heavy metal and took a more alternative rock and progressive rock approach to their music beginning in 1999 with the EP Creative Eclipses. This new direction continued with Jupiter, Cave In's second studio album in 2000. Cave In released one more EP through Hydra Head Records in 2002, Tides of Tomorrow, before signing with RCA Records.
McCafferty is an American indie rock band from Medina, Ohio. The band's lineup currently consists of Nick Hartkop on guitar and vocals and his partner Emily Hartkop on bass.
Kelsie Danielle Marie "Kelc" Galluzzo, known by the stage name Jetty Bones, is an American indie pop singer-songwriter from Urbana, Ohio. Galluzzo released a series of EPs in the 2010s before signing to Rise Records and releasing her debut album, Push Back, in 2021. Her backing band over the years has included Katie Cole of DangerKids, RB Roe of Save Face, and Dylan Mattheisen of Tiny Moving Parts.
Sarah and the Safe Word is an American rock band based in Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 2015 by lead singer Sarah Rose and guitarist Kienan Dietrich, the band's current lineup also includes keyboardist Beth Ballinger and bassist Maddox Reksten. They are known for their theatrical 1920s cabaret-inspired style, eclectic blend of genres and influences, and affiliation with and advocacy for the LGBT community and other marginalized groups.
Riverby is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2018 by lead singer August Greenberg and guitarist Tyler Asay, the band released an EP, The Guide To Oversharing (2019), before signing to independent label Take This To Heart Records in 2020 and releasing their debut album, Smart Mouth. A second album, Absolution, was released in 2022. Riverby have performed alongside acts including Chris Gethard, Mannequin Pussy, and The Front Bottoms, and have been featured by WXPN and BrooklynVegan.
