Tamerlan Tagziev (born September 25, 1981) [1] is an Ossetian wrestler competing for Canada.
Tagziev moved to Canada in 2009 and became a citizen in the same year. [1] He won a gold medal in the 86 kg freestyle at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. [2] He was given a four-year ban after testing positive for meldonium on 29 August 2016. [3]
The Commonwealth Games is a quadrennial international multi-sport event among athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations, which consists mostly, but not exclusively, of territories of the former British Empire. The event was first held in 1930 as the British Empire Games and, with the exception of 1942 and 1946, has successively run every four years since. The event was called the British Empire Games from 1930 to 1950, the British Empire and Commonwealth Games from 1954 to 1966, and the British Commonwealth Games from 1970 to 1974. The event removed the word British from its title for the 1978 Games and has maintained its current name ever since.

Geetika Jakhar is an Indian wrestler. Geetika comes from a family of sportspersons. She got Arjuna Award - 2006. She is the only women wrestler in the history of Indian sports to be judged the Best Wrestler of the 2005 Commonwealth Games and also who won medals at Asian Games 2006 and 2014 respectively. Geetika is the first woman wrestler being awarded with the Arjuna Award by Government of India in 2006. She is also a proud recipient of Bhim Award by government of Haryana. For her extraordinary achievements in the field of sports, the government of Haryana has appointed her to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police in 2008.

Babita Kumari Phogat is a former Indian professional wrestler and a politician from the state of Haryana. She is a multiple Commonwealth Games medalist, winning the gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games, and silver medals at 2010 Commonwealth Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games. When she won the 2014 Commonwealth gold medal, she became the second Indian women wrestler to win a Commonwealth gold after Geeta Phogat, who had won it in 2010.

Korey Jarvis is a Canadian wrestler who most notably won a gold medal in the 125 kg category in men’s freestyle wrestling at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He has additionally, competed and won the Canadian National Wrestling Championships for three consecutive years in both freestyle and Greco-Roman styles, the only wrestler to have done so. In July 2016, he was officially named to Canada's 2016 Olympic team. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, he placed 8th in the 125 kg category in men’s freestyle wrestling. Jarvis most recently placed 7th in the 125 kg category in men’s freestyle wrestling at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in Paris, France.
Erica Elizabeth Wiebe is a Canadian retired wrestler. She won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in women's 75 kg freestyle. Wiebe was the third Canadian champion ever in wrestling at the Olympics, and second Canadian woman to win gold after Carol Huynh. Wiebe also won gold at two Commonwealth Games: the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
Arjun Gill is a wrestler competing for Canada. He won a gold medal in the 97 kg freestyle at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The following year on home soil, Gill won silver at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
