Tenuopus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is the only genus in the subfamily Tenuopodinae, which was created by Igor Grichanov in 2018. [1] The genus was previously placed in the subfamily Neurigoninae, and it also shares some features of Peloropeodinae and Sciapodinae. All species are known from the Afrotropical realm. [3]

Amblypsilopus Genus of flies

Amblypsilopus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is a large genus, with about 350 species recorded. However, it is possibly polyphyletic.

Argyrochlamys is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is known from the Afrotropics, the Oriental realm, and the southernmost part of the Palearctic realm. The genus is closely related to the genera Pseudargyrochlamys and Phoomyia. Species of Argyrochlamys are restricted to ocean beaches, and are usually collected in the burrows of ghost crabs. Their ecological role within these burrows is currently unknown. Adults of Argyrochlamys have a non-metallic dull body color, ranging from pale yellowish brown to dark grey.

Bickeliolus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It was originally a subgenus of Ethiosciapus, but was later raised to genus rank in 1998.

Chrysosoma Genus of flies

Chrysosoma is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is a large genus, with more than 200 species distributed in the Old World and Oceania.

Condylostylus Genus of flies

Condylostylus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is the second largest genus in the subfamily Sciapodinae, with more 250 species included. It has a high diversity in the Neotropical realm, where 70% of the species occur.

Dytomyia is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is known from Australia, Madagascar and Kenya, with an undescribed species from Papua New Guinea.

Euxiphocerus is a genus of fly in the family Dolichopodidae from the Afrotropical realm. It was originally placed in the subfamily Rhaphiinae, but some authors now place it in Medeterinae, tribe Systenini.

Katangaia is an African genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It was originally placed in the subfamily Rhaphiinae, though it was later transferred to Dolichopodinae. In 2005, based on a cladistic analysis of the subfamily, Scott E. Brooks excluded Katangaia from the Dolichopodinae. However, later authors have retained the genus in this subfamily.

Nurteria is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae, found in the Afrotropical realm. Three species are currently known in the genus, but there are also numerous undescribed species of the genus from southern Africa. It was originally described in the subfamily Diaphorinae, though it possesses some features of the Sympycninae.

Olegonegrobovia is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae, known from Africa. It was first established in 1995 by Igor Grichanov, who named it after the Russian entomologist Oleg Negrobov. It was synonymised with Teuchophorus by Meuffels & Grootaert in 2004, but is considered a separate genus by Grichanov & Mostovski (2008). A molecular phylogenetic analysis from 2010 found support for the synonymy of Olegonegrobovia with Teuchophorus.

Telmaturgus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It has a cosmopolitan distribution.
