• 12 January – Seven police officers were killed in a bomb attack on their vehicle in Tank District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. ^[1] The Islamist militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack ^[2]
• 15 January – Twelve Balochistan Liberation Army militants were killed in an attack on a police station and two banks in Kharan District, Balochistan. ^[3]
