The Gary Steelheads was a professional basketball team that played in the International Basketball League. In the past they played in the International Basketball League, Continental Basketball Association, and the United States Basketball League. They were based in Gary, Indiana and played their home games at the Genesis Convention Center. The Steelheads were the 2006 CBA Eastern Conference champions.
The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) is a Canadian independent baseball league, comprising teams of college players and former professionals from North America and beyond. Players are not paid, so as to maintain the players' NCAA eligibility.
The Bellingham Slam are a semi-professional basketball team that formerly competed for seven seasons in the International Basketball League. Before joining the IBL, they played two seasons in the American Basketball Association. They were originally expected to play in Everett, Washington, but were relocated to Bellingham, Washington under the ownership of John Dominguez. The team currently competes in the annual Seattle Pro–Am basketball tournament organized by Seattle, Washington native and National Basketball Association (NBA) player Jamal Crawford.
The Portland Chinooks was a professional men's basketball team based out of Portland, Oregon. They were charter members of the International Basketball League and began play in the league in 2004. The team was owned by local businessman Terry Emmert. They played their home games at various locations since their inception, including the Peter Stott Center, the Rose Garden, and at Eastmoreland Courts in southeast Portland. The team colors of red and black were shared with their predecessors from the NBA, the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Salem Soldiers were a basketball team from Salem, Oregon that played in the International Basketball League from 2005–07 and in 2012. Originally the Salem Stampede, they played home games in the Salem Armory, which seats 3,000 for basketball. In 2007 the team played home games in Salem's Douglas McKay High School. The team became the Soldiers in 2012 when they returned to the IBL, their final season, as the Salem Sabres entered the league the next year.
The Battle Creek Flight are a team in the Independent Basketball Association (IBA) located in Battle Creek, Michigan. They previously played in the Premier Basketball League (PBL) and in the International Basketball League. The team was known as the Battle Creek Knights prior to the 2013–14 season.
The Lansing Capitals are a member of the Independent Basketball Association (IBA). Founded in 2006, the Capitals were originally members of the International Basketball League. The team plays their home games at Aim High Sports at The Summit Sports and Ice Complex in Dimondale, Michigan.
The Arizona Flame, formerly the Phoenix Flame and the Scottsdale Flame, were an International Basketball League (IBL) team based in Casa Grande, Arizona. The team played home games at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum and on the campus of Grand Canyon University. The Flame was the Phoenix's first minor league basketball team since the Phoenix Eclipse folded after the 2001–02 American Basketball Association season. It was owned by Stephen Moss-Kelley, professional basketball player and former IBL all-star. When the team was announced in June 2006, the Flame named their home venue as North Phoenix Baptist Church. By October 2006, the Arizona Republic listed Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum as the team's home venue. Tickets for the Flame's opening season were eight dollars for adults and four dollars for children. Maury "Mo" Samilton was the team's head coach in 2007.
Lovejoy High School is a public high school in Lucas, Texas in south central Collin County. It is the only high school of the Lovejoy Independent School District serving grades 9-12 and classified as a 5A school by the UIL. Lovejoy High School serves most of the cities of Lucas, most of Fairview, and a small portion of Allen. Students from outside the district may transfer to Lovejoy High School for a tuition fee. Until the Fall of 2006, all high school students zoned to Lovejoy Independent School District attended nearby Allen High School. The school graduated its first senior class in 2010. In 2013, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.
The Edmonton Energy is a professional basketball team in the International Basketball League, formerly known as the Edmonton Chill. The Chill name was revoked in August 2008 after allegations of misconduct were filed with the league regarding Troy Barns, the majority shareholder in the team.
The Yamhill HighFlyers were an International Basketball League team based in McMinnville, Oregon. It was the first professional sports franchise of Yamhill County, Oregon. The team was founded by owner/general manager Eric Bailey in 2009 and was operated by YHF Entertainment, LLC. The High Flyers worked to gain the support of local business and offer opportunities for local athletes. The team did not field a team in 2013. The voice of the HighFlyers was the local radio personality Brian Eriksen, games were carried on local radio station KLYC 1260AM.

The team is backed by former Seattle SuperSonics star Shawn Kemp and his wife Marvena. They play their home games at the Pierce College Fort Steilacoom Health Education Center Gymnasium in Lakewood. The team colors of emerald green and gold are to honor their predecessors from the NBA.
The Salem Sabres were a professional men's basketball based in Salem, Oregon. They were last members of the International Basketball League and began play in the league in 2012. The team was owned by C. Neiman Sports, Inc. and the team's general manager was Joe Becerra. They played their home games at Chemeketa Community College. They joined the league after playing one season in the American Basketball Association. After the 2014 season they folded along with the league.
The Tarleton State Texans and TexAnns are the athletic teams that represent Tarleton State University of Stephenville, Texas in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. Before Tarleton State became a four-year institution in 1961, they were known as the "Plowboys". The Texans and TexAnns compete as members of the Lone Star Conference for all 12 varsity sports. Tarleton State re-joined the Lone Star Conference in 1995 after having previously participated from 1968 to 1975. They were a founding member of the Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association (TIAA) in 1976 and remained in that league until 1990. From 1991 to 1994 Tarleton played as an Independent.
