LOVB Houston is an American professional women's indoor volleyball team based in Houston, Texas. It is a member of LOVB Pro, which will begin play in January 2025.

History

In 2021, LOVB announced plans to start a professional women's volleyball league in the United States. [1] Houston was revealed as one of LOVB's first two team locations alongside Atlanta in March 2023. [2] Micha Hancock and Jordan Thompson joined Houston as LOVB's first player signings. [3]

The facility comprises an 8,600-seat arena, conference rooms, a multi-purpose area, and an outdoor pavilion. The arena is owned by Stonehenge LLC, with ownership transferring to Fort Bend County following its bond repayment to the private firm by 2050.

Lexi Rodriguez is an American professional volleyball libero for LOVB Omaha of LOVB Pro. She played college volleyball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, where she holds the program record for career digs. She was named AVCA All-American four times and Big Ten Defensive Player or Libero of the Year three times.
