Texas State Open

The Texas State Open is the Texas state open golf tournament, open to both amateur and professional golfers. It is organized by the Northern Texas section of the PGA of America. It was first played in 1960 and has been played annually since 1975 at a variety of courses around the state.

The Texas Women's Open is a golf tournament, played in the Fort Worth, Texas area. From 1950 to 1954, it was an LPGA Tour event, although it was first played in 1933. It was revived by the North Texas section of the PGA of America in 2001. It was played at several courses in Fort Worth from 1933 to 1955 and in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex since 2001. The 2020 event featured a stronger than normal field as several LPGA Tour players competed due to the Tour hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Virginia Open is the Virginia state open golf tournament, open to both amateur and professional golfers. It is organized by the Virginia State Golf Association and the Middle Atlantic section of the PGA of America. It has been played annually since 1924 at a variety of courses around the state. From 1958 to 1984, both organizations held an Open, with the one sponsored by the PGA generally known as the Virginia PGA Open. The tournament was considered a PGA Tour event in at least 1936 and 1946.
