The State University of New York is a system of public colleges and universities in the State of New York. It is one of the largest comprehensive systems of universities, colleges, and community colleges in the United States. Led by chancellor John B. King, the SUNY system has 91,182 employees, including 32,496 faculty members, and some 7,660 degree and certificate programs overall and a $13.37 billion budget. Its flagship universities are Stony Brook University on Long Island and the University at Buffalo.
The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is a public university in Anchorage, Alaska. UAA also administers four community campuses spread across Southcentral Alaska: Kenai Peninsula College, Kodiak College, Matanuska–Susitna College, and Prince William Sound College. Between the community campuses and the main Anchorage campus, roughly 15,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students are currently enrolled at UAA. It is Alaska's largest institution of higher learning and the largest university in the University of Alaska System.

VCOM also recently added Bluefield University to its list of campuses. Founded in 2002, VCOM graduated its first class of 139 students in June 2007.

Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) is a 781-bed non-profit, research and teaching hospital providing tertiary and healthcare needs located seven miles (11 km) west of New York City, in Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey. As of 2019, it ranks as the 2nd largest hospital in New Jersey and No. 59 in the US. HUMC is the largest hospital in the Hackensack Meridian Health Health System. It is affiliated with the New Jersey Medical School of Rutgers University and Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. The medical center is Bergen County's first hospital, founded in 1888 with 12 beds. The hospital is an ACS verified level 1 trauma center, one of five in the state. In 2021 it was given a grade A by the Leapfrog patient safety organization.

Mulungushi University is one of the public universities of Zambia. Previously known as the National College of Management and Development Studies, it was turned into a university by the Zambian Government in a public-private partnership with Konkola Copper Mines in 2008. The university consists of three campuses: the Main Campus, or Great North Road Campus, located 26 kilometers North of Kabwe on the banks of the Mulungushi River; the Town Campus, located along Mubanga Road, off Munkoyo Street, near the center of Kabwe town; and the Livingstone Campus, located in Livingstone, which is home to the medical school. The university provides bachelor's degrees and master's degrees for full-time and distance education. In 2009, more than 500 distance education students enrolled. They were mainly former diploma students of the National College for Management and Development Studies.
