The Battlefords is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. It includes the city of North Battleford and the adjoining town of Battleford. Collectively these communities are commonly known as "The Battlefords".

Contents

The district was first established in 1917 from the urban portions of the constituencies of Battleford and North Battleford. The district was contested in every election until the 1995 general election, when it was broken up into the re-created district of North Battleford and a new district, Battleford-Cut Knife. North Battleford and Battleford-Cut Knife were abolished before the 2003 general election and The Battlefords was re-established as an electoral district.

It was most recently contested in the 2020 election, when Saskatchewan Party candidate Jeremy Cockrill was elected.

It was replaced before the 1917 general election, by the riding of Cut Knife and by combining the eastern tip of the riding with the North Battleford provincial district to create The Battlefords.

Battleford-Cut Knife was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. This constituency was created by the merging of parts of the Cut Knife-Lloydminster and The Battlefords electoral districts before the 1995 Saskatchewan general election. The Representation Act, 2002 (Saskatchewan) redistributed this riding into the Cut Knife-Turtleford and a revived The Battlefords electoral districts for the 2003 Saskatchewan general election.

Larry Doke is a Canadian provincial politician, who served as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the riding of Cut Knife-Turtleford from 2011 to 2020 as a member of the Saskatchewan Party. He was first elected in the 2011 election, and subsequently re-elected in the 2016 election. He did not run for re-election in the 2020 election.

The riding will be dissolved into Kindersley-Biggar, Rosthern-Shellbrook, Rosetown-Delisle, Martensville-Blairmore and Warman prior to the next general election.
