The Bonny is the second studio album by the Scottish singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist Gerry Cinnamon. It was released on 17 April 2020 by Little Runaway Records. The album includes the singles "Canter", "Sun Queen", "Dark Days", "The Bonny", "Where We're Going" and "Head in the Clouds". The re-release also includes the single "Ghost".
In March 2020, Gerry Cinnamon announced that he was releasing his new album The Bonny on 17 April, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Scotland. [1] In November 2020, Cinnamon announced via Instagram that the album was to be re-released on 13 November 2020 including his new single "Ghost", as well as new recordings of "Kampfire Vampire" and "Fickle McSelfish".
Of the re-release, he said: "Been waiting a long time to get those tunes back. Should have been on the first album but that’s what happens when you trust the wrong people. Ghost, Kampfire, Fickle and Roll the Credits were all written around the same time so it’s good to have them all on the same record." [2]
The Bonny debuted at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart, selling 29,000 units in its first week, 77% of which were made up of physical sales and downloads. It is Cinnamon's first ever chart-topping album in the United Kingdom. The album also sold 6,400 copies on vinyl format in its first week in the UK. [3] The album also debuted at number 1 on the Irish Albums Chart.
On 6 December 2019, Gerry Cinnamon announced his UK and Ireland tour on his social media profiles. [4] In March 2020, he had to reschedule some of his concerts to later in the year due to the coronavirus pandemic. [5] On 21 May 2020, he announced that he had moved the dates for his UK and Ireland tour to May and June 2021. [6]

Leftfield are a British electronic music group formed in 1989, a duo of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley. The duo was influential in the evolution of electronic music in the 1990s, with Mixmag describing them as "the single most influential production team working in British dance music". As with many of their contemporaries, such as The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim, Leftfield are notable for their use of guest vocalists in their works. Among them are Toni Halliday on "Original", Johnny Rotten on "Open Up", Djum Djum on "Afro-Left", Earl 16 and Cheshire Cat on "Release the Pressure", and Grian Chatten of Fontaines D.C. on "Full Way Round". The term progressive house was coined to define their style, a fusion of house with dub and reggae.
Up at the Lake is the eighth album by the British alternative rock band The Charlatans, released on 17 May 2004 through Universal and Island Records Group. As promotion wrapped up for their seventh album, Wonderland (2001), Universal wanted them to follow it up with another one quickly. However, frontman Tim Burgess began working on his debut solo album in late 2002. At the end of the year, the band reconvened to write songs; by March 2003, they relocated to their own studio, Big Mushroom, in Cheshire, Greater Manchester, with them and James Spencer serving as producers. Recording halted in May 2003 to allow for Burgess to finish his album, I Believe (2003); sessions would resume by the end of the year and finish in February 2004. Up at the Lake is a pop rock album that pursues the country rock direction that they had first explored on their sixth album, Tellin' Stories (1997).

Described as a pop rock and psychedelic pop release, Magic and Medicine was compared to the work of the Animals, with frontman James Skelly's vocals recalling that band's frontman Eric Burdon.
