The Marine Society College of the Sea is a distance learning further education college for those who make their living at sea. The college is owned and operated by The Marine Society, and is located at 202 Lambeth Road, in the London Borough of Lambeth.
The college is used by members of the Royal Navy and the British Merchant Navy, as well as all seafarers – wherever they may serve and in whatever capacity. Courses offered by the college include GCSEs, A Levels, short adult education courses, and specialised diplomas relating to shipping. There is also a range of higher education courses offered in conjunction with City University London, Middlesex University and the Open University.
The colleges provision is focused on the needs of seafarers and shore-based maritime professionals, and is provided via a range of services which are designed to enhance learning and well-being, and to facilitate professional development.

The University of the West of Scotland, formerly the University of Paisley, is a public university with four campuses in south-western Scotland, in the towns of Paisley, Blantyre, Dumfries and Ayr, as well as a campus in London, England. The present institution dates from August 2007, following the merger of the University of Paisley with Bell College, Hamilton. It can trace its roots to the late 19th century, and has undergone numerous name changes and mergers over the last century, reflecting its gradual expansion throughout the west of Scotland region.
The Royal Veterinary College is a veterinary school located in London and a constituent college of the federal University of London. The RVC was founded in 1791 and joined the University of London in 1949. It is the oldest and largest Veterinary school in the United Kingdom, and one of only nine in the country where students can study to become a vet.
The National Maritime College of Ireland is a public maritime college located in Ringaskiddy, County Cork, Ireland. It is a constituent college of the Munster Technological University. Founded in 2004, it is situated on former Department of Defence land aside the Haulbowline naval base, the headquarters of the Irish Naval Service. It is the first dedicated maritime college of its kind in the State, and was built under the Irish Government's Public-Private Partnership scheme, involving the Munster Technological University, the Naval Service and a number of other partners.

Its original constituents include the Gravesend Technical College and the National Sea Training School (NSTC).
BSix Sixth Form College: Brooke House is a sixth form college located in Upper Clapton, London, England. It was established in 2002, giving students in Hackney the opportunity to study at a college close to where they live. Brooke House has previously been the site of other educational institutions.
The Seafarers Hospital Society, formerly the Seamen's Hospital Society, is a charity for people currently or previously employed by the British Merchant Navy and fishing fleets, and their families. It was established in 1821.
The Marine Society is a British charity, the world's first established for seafarers. In 1756, at the beginning of the Seven Years' War against France, Austria, and Saxony Britain urgently needed to recruit men for the navy. Jonas Hanway (1712–1786), who had already made his mark as a traveller, Russia Company merchant, writer and philanthropist, must take the chief credit for founding the society which both contributed to the solution of that particular problem, and has continued for the next two and a half centuries to assist many thousands of young people in preparing for a career at sea.

Saint Francis Xavier College is a Roman Catholic sixth form college in South London, England. It is located on the borders of Wandsworth and Lambeth close to Clapham South tube station. It offers courses for 16- to 19-year-olds, as well as Adult Education classes. As of 2018 there are about 1,300 enrolled students, the vast majority studying at Level 3.
Westminster Kingsway College is a large college for further education in central London with centres in King's Cross in Camden, together with Victoria and Soho centres in Westminster. Founded in 2000 and having origins dating back to 1910, the college is part of Capital City College Group, alongside City and Islington College and The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London. Altogether, the group have over 25,000 enrolled students as of 2020. Westminster Kingsway College provides further, adult and higher education programmes, including full-time and part-time vocational, professional and academic courses at different levels.
Lambeth College is a further education college in the London Borough of Lambeth. It was formed in 1992 from three former institutions – Vauxhall College of Building and Further Education, Brixton College of Further Education, and South London College. The college serves just under 10,000 students from its two campuses at Clapham and Brixton as of 2019. The Vauxhall campus is currently undergoing development and this third site will specialise in the provision of STEAM. Lambeth College joined London South Bank University (LSBU) Group on 31 January 2019, and became one of only three national pilots designed to bring Further and Higher Education together.

City of Westminster College is a further education college in the City of Westminster, England, founded originally as Paddington Technical Institute in 1904 and gaining its current name in 1990. The college has two centres in central London, located in Paddington and Maida Vale. It also includes the Cockpit Theatre, a fully operational studio theatre used for training and performances, and a range of outreach centres. Since 2017 it is legally merged with the College of North West London (CNWL) although remains publicly distinct; together the United Colleges Group have over 9,000 enrolled students as of 2019, most in young or adult study programmes and some in apprenticeships.
Founded in 1854 as the Lambeth School of Art, the City and Guilds of London Art School is a small specialist art college located in central London, England. Originally founded as a government art school, it is now an independent, not-for-profit charity, and is one of the country's longest established art schools. It offers courses ranging from art and design Foundation, through to BA (Hons) undergraduate degrees and MA postgraduate courses in fine art and conservation. In addition, it offers the only undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Britain in stone and wood carving: historic architectural stone and ornamental woodcarving and gilding.
South Essex College of Further and Higher Education, also known as South Essex College, is a further education college located over three main sites in Basildon, Southend-on-Sea and Grays in Essex, England. The college provides courses for students of all ages, from 14 to 19-year-olds to undergraduates, adults and businesses.

The centre is located in Barking Town Square and hosts a library, a cafe, an art gallery, a sauna and spa, and offers a range of courses and qualifications.
