The Monster Tour was a co-headlining concert tour by American rapper Eminem and Barbadian singer Rihanna. The tour began on August 7, 2014, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and concluded on August 23, 2014, at the Comerica Park in Detroit.
Eminem and Rihanna first collaborated in 2010 with "Love the Way You Lie". Since then they have released three more collaborations: "Love the Way You Lie (Part II)" (2010), "Numb" (2012), and "The Monster" (2013).
In February 2014, it was announced that they would embark on a mini-tour. On March 19, 2014, it was confirmed that it would be called The Monster Tour and three dates were announced. [2] Tickets went on sale to the general public on March 28, 2014. [3] On March 21, 2014, three further dates were added to the tour due to popular demand. [4]
The Monster Tour was one of the highest-grossing tours of 2014 in North America, with a gross of $36 million in only six shows. A total of 581,276 people attended (including outside the stadiums).
The two shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey grossed $12.4 million with 101,941 people attending each concert. It was the sixth highest-grossing box office of the year in North America, only behind Billy Joel, George Strait, One Direction and Garth Brooks. [5]

Saint Andrew's Hall is a concert venue located in Detroit, Michigan, which was formerly the meeting place for the Saint Andrew's Society of Detroit. The Shelter lies underneath St. Andrews Hall and hosts various live music acts and DJs. It is known for being one of the first stages on which Eminem performed.
The Licks Tour was a worldwide concert tour undertaken by the Rolling Stones during 2002 and 2003, in support of their 40th anniversary compilation album Forty Licks. The tour grossed over $300 million, becoming the second-highest-grossing tour at that time, behind their own Voodoo Lounge Tour of 1994–1995.
The Private Dancer Tour was the fifth concert tour by singer Tina Turner. The Have a Nice Day Tour was a worldwide concert tour by American rock band Bon Jovi. It took place between November 2005 and July 2006. The tour supported their ninth studio album Have a Nice Day.
The Voodoo Lounge Tour was a worldwide concert tour by the Rolling Stones to promote their 1994 album Voodoo Lounge. This was their first tour without bassist Bill Wyman, and their first with touring bassist Darryl Jones, as an additional musician. The tour grossed $320 million, replacing The Division Bell Tour by Pink Floyd as the highest grossing of any artist at that time. This was subsequently overtaken by a few other tours, but it remains the Rolling Stones' third highest grossing tour behind their 2005–07 A Bigger Bang Tour and their 2017–21 No Filter Tour.
The Beautiful World Tour 2007 was the sixth concert tour for the English pop group Take That. The tour ran from 11 October to 31 December 2007, with fifty stops in ten European countries.
The Freedom Tour was the fourth concert tour by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys in support of her fourth studio album, The Element of Freedom (2009). The tour commenced at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa on February 26, 2010. The tour continued onto North America visiting Europe as well. In June, Keys will headline one concert in Johannesburg, giving the singer in first performances in South Africa. According to Pollstar, the tour grossed $29.4 million worldwide, with 43 shows.
The My World Tour was the debut concert tour by Canadian singer Justin Bieber. It is Bieber's first concert tour which supports his two-part debut EP and debut studio album My World (2009) and My World 2.0 (2010). The tour was officially announced on March 16, 2010, a week before My World 2.0 was released. The tour has multiple legs with the supporting acts of Mindless Behavior, Sean Kingston and Jessica Jarrell on North American dates and pop girl group The Stunners also joined the tour for the first twenty dates. Jasmine Villegas joined the tour as the opening act for the second leg. The first leg of the tour is estimated to have grossed $35.6 million post inflation. The tour grossed over $53 million worldwide according to Jeetendr Sehdev of The Guardian.
The Away from Home Tour, also marketed as the Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour, was the first headlining concert tour by Canadian recording artist, Drake.
The Loud Tour was the fourth overall and third world concert tour by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna. Performing in over twenty countries in the Americas and Europe, the tour was launched in support of Rihanna's fifth studio album Loud (2010). Critics acclaimed the show for its liveliness and higher caliber of quality when compared to Rihanna's previous tours. The Loud Tour was a large commercial success, experiencing demand for an extension of shows in the United Kingdom due to popularity. In London, Rihanna played a record-breaking 10 dates at The O2 Arena. The tour ultimately grossed an estimated value of US$90 million from 98 reported shows and a total audience of 1,200,800. The Loud Tour became the seventh-highest-grossing tour of 2011.
The Driving World Tour was a concert tour by English musician Paul McCartney. It marked his first tour of the 21st century and of any kind since 1993's New World Tour. For the first time in nearly a decade, McCartney returned to the road following the death of first wife, Linda McCartney, the death of George Harrison, and 9/11. This was in promotion of his 2001 album Driving Rain. Paul "Wix" Wickens returned on keyboards and is credited as Musical Director. New to the fold were Americans Rusty Anderson, Brian Ray, and Abe Laboriel Jr. Paul McCartney's then-fiancée Heather Mills accompanied him on the tour and was in the audience for every American performance.
Barbra Streisand in Concert is Barbra Streisand's first full tour which ran from 1993 through 1994. The tour consisted of 26 shows starting on New Year's Eve 1993 in Las Vegas and ended Anaheim, California in July 1994. The 18 shows that went on sale following the new year concerts in Las Vegas sold out in 1 hour. This tour was also the first time Barbra toured anywhere in Europe and was the last until her Timeless tour in 2000.
The Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour was a co-headlining concert tour by American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake and American rapper Jay Z. The tour supported Timberlake's third studio album, The 20/20 Experience (2013) and Jay Z's twelfth studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail (2013). Overall, the duo performed to 622,559 fans in two countries, grossing a total of US$75.3 million. With the 14 dates sold-out, it was the 15th highest-grossing tour of 2013.
Would You Like a Tour? was the third headlining tour by Canadian rapper Drake. It began on October 18, 2013 in Pittsburgh and continued until March 5, 2015 with its final show scheduled in Brisbane, Australia. Scheduled for 66 performances across North America, Europe, and Oceania, the tour was produced by Live Nation in conjunction with his third studio album, Nothing Was the Same.
The Japan Dome Tour was the fourth concert tour in Japan and seventh overall by South Korean band Big Bang. The tour visited six of Japan's major concert domes, making BigBang the first foreign artists to headline their own six-dome tour. The tour was one of the country's highest-grossing concert tours of the year, and grossed over US$70.6 million from sixteen shows, with all of the tickets from the tour being sold out.
The Anti World Tour was the seventh concert tour by Barbadian singer Rihanna, in support of her eighth studio album, Anti (2016). The tour was announced on November 15, 2015 and began on March 12, 2016, in Jacksonville and ended on November 27, 2016, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Shawn Mendes World Tour was the second concert tour by Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, promoting his debut studio album Handwritten (2015). The tour began in New York City at Radio City Music Hall on March 5, 2016, and it concluded in Manila at Mall of Asia Arena on March 18, 2017.
The Summer Sixteen Tour was a co-headlining concert tour by Canadian rapper Drake and American rapper Future. It began on July 20, 2016 in Austin, Texas, and concluded with its final show in Toronto, Ontario, on October 8, 2016. The Boy Meets World Tour was the fifth headlining tour by Canadian recording artist Drake, to support his album Views (2016), and his playlist More Life (2017). The European leg began on January 28, 2017, at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and concluded at the same venue on March 29, 2017. The opening acts for the European leg were the Canadian R&B duo dvsn, along with Young Thug for the UK and Ireland concerts. An Australia and New Zealand leg began on November 3, 2017, in Auckland, New Zealand and ended in Melbourne, Australia on November 20, 2017. The opening acts for the Australian and New Zealand concerts were Boi-1da and Pi'erre Bourne, both performing DJ sets.
The Tour Jay:z 4:44 or simply 4:44 Tour was a concert tour by American rapper Jay-Z, in support of his thirteenth studio album 4:44 (2017). The tour began in Anaheim at the Honda Center on October 27, 2017, and concluded on December 21, 2017, in Inglewood at The Forum. Vic Mensa was the opening act for the whole tour.
