The Outlet Collection Seattle, formerly SuperMall of the Great Northwest, is an outlet mall in Auburn, Washington, United States, that opened in August 1995. The mall is currently anchored by Burlington, Nordstrom Rack, Dave & Busters, and FieldhouseUSA. There are two vacant anchor spaces, previously occupied by Dick's Warehouse Sale and Bed Bath & Beyond, the latter of which will reopen as Best Buy Outlet in November 2023. [2] Junior anchors include Ashley HomeStore, Fitness Quest, Old Navy Outlet, and H&M. A Walmart Supercenter and Regal Cinemas movie theater are also located on mall property.

History

The Outlet Collection Seattle opened on August 25, 1995, under the name "Supermall of the Great Northwest". [3]

Its anchors then included Nordstrom Rack, Bed Bath and Beyond, Oshman's SuperSports USA (Later Sports Authority until 2016), Burlington Coat Factory, Saks Fifth Avenue (later Old Navy and Ulta Beauty), Marshalls (later Dave & Buster's) and Incredible Universe (later Sam's Club until 2018). [4]

In its first year of business, the mall contained 175 stores and drew more than 14 million customers. [5] By 1998, Saks Fifth Avenue and one fifth of the stores had closed. [6]

New development has occurred in and around the mall since the mid-2000s, with the addition of several strip malls and restaurants. This development culminated in 2010, with the opening of a new Walmart Supercenter. [7]

In May 2012, the outlet mall was renamed The Outlet Collection Seattle. [8]

Westlake Center is a four-story shopping center and 25-story office tower in downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. The southern terminus of the Seattle Center Monorail, it is located across Pine Street from Westlake Park, between 4th and 5th Avenues. It is named for Westlake Avenue, which now terminates north of the mall but once ran two blocks farther south to Pike Street. Westlake Park is considered Seattle's "town square" and celebrities and political figures often make appearances or give speeches from the building's balcony. Tanger Outlets Palm Beach is a 440,000 sq ft (41,000 m2) outlet shopping center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Opened on February 14, 2014, it was developed on the site of the former Palm Beach Mall. Palm Beach Outlets features over 130 stores and restaurants including Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, J.Crew, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, and Vera Bradley. Westgate Center is a 640,000 sq ft (59,000 m2) regional outlet shopping center located in the West San Jose neighborhood of San Jose, California. The mall is located at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Campbell Avenue. Current major anchor tenants include Burlington Coat Factory, Nordstrom Rack, Ross Dress for Less, TJ Maxx, and Target, along with Michael's, Old Navy, Gap Factory Store, and Nike Factory Store.

Foothills Mall is an indoor regional shopping mall located in Casas Adobes, Arizona, United States, with a Tucson postal address. Foothills Mall had capacity for over 90 stores and outlets, along with 8 restaurants and an AMC Theatres Foothills 15. As of 2023, the mall has been demolished, with plans to convert the existing mall into a mixed-use project.

Lesso Home New York is a planned mixed-use development center located in Westbury, New York, on Old Country Road and Merchants Concourse, currently owned by Lesso Mall Development Long Island Inc. The Great Mall of the Great Plains was a shopping mall located in Olathe, Kansas, United States. It was the largest outlet mall in the state of Kansas, and boasted over 150 stores and 10 anchors, laid out in a half-mile racetrack pattern. Amenities included indoor glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course, a food court, a Game Zone arcade, and a Dickinson Theatres movie theater with sixteen screens. Great Mall of the Great Plains was owned & managed by Glimcher Properties Trust until January 2009. The mall closed on September 18, 2015, although Burlington Coat Factory remained open. Demolition on the mall began on July 11, 2016, and was finished in January 2017. While developers announced in January 2018 that a redevelopment called Mentum would replace the old mall, this never happened. In October 2021, Olathe-based company Garmin Ltd. indicated that it acquired the property, likely to expand its company's headquarters. Burlington Coat Factory closed at the end of January 2023, leaving the mall without any businesses.

The Shops at Ledgewood Commons is a shopping plaza in Ledgewood, New Jersey, United States. Its anchors are Ashley Furniture HomeStores, Marshalls, Walmart, Burlington, & At Home. It is an outdoor shopping plaza with a gross leasable area of 470,000 sq ft (44,000 m2). From the mall's opening in 1972 until 2016, it was branded Ledgewood Mall as a 518,246-square-foot (48,147 m2) enclosed mall.
