Eat the Heat is the eighth studio album by German heavy metal band Accept, released in 1989. It was recorded at Dierks Studios in Cologne from September 1988 to January 1989. Although Jim Stacey is presented as rhythm guitar player in the album line-up, the album credits also state that all guitar work on the album was played by Wolf Hoffmann. Stacey did perform second guitar live with the band. Until 2010's Blood of the Nations, this was Accept's only album without Udo Dirkschneider as lead vocalist. U.D.O. contributes with crowd vocals on "Turn the Wheel". U.D.O. has also covered the song "X-T-C" on the 2001 compilation A Tribute to Accept II. Accept later recorded "Generation Clash II" based on "Generation Clash" with Udo Dirkschneider on vocals for their 1994 album Death Row. U.D.O. will still regularly perform tracks from this album, including "X-T-C".
Mad is an EP released by English heavy metal band Raven in 1986, after the debacle of the album The Pack Is Back, which received very bad reviews and insignificant commercial success. The songs of this EP mark the return to a more aggressive and metallic sound. It has never been re-released on CD. Its tracks were released as bonus tracks on other CD releases.

Stranger Things Have Happened is the nineteenth studio album by American country music artist Ronnie Milsap, released in 1989. The album produced four singles, two of which claimed the top spot on the Billboard country singles chart, including "A Woman in Love" and "Don't You Ever Get Tired ." The other singles, included "Houston Solution" and the title track, which peaked at #4 and #2 respectively. Of especial note is the song "You Snap Your Fingers ", which made an appearance once before in his career on his album from 13 years prior.
Night of the Crime is the second album by the heavy metal band Icon. It was far more polished than their self-titled debut and forayed into areas of glam only previously alluded to on their debut. It was produced and engineered by Eddie Kramer. Around 30 songs were demoed for the album, and Kramer´s version included one more finished track, "Hang Tough". Ron Nevison mixed the album and "Hang Tough" did not make it to the final release. The album has, like the debut, been remastered and re-released several times on CD. Night of the Crime was voted third best AOR album of all time by Kerrang! magazine readers in 1988, behind multimillion-selling classic albums by Journey and Michael Bolton.
