The Shops at Park Lane is an upscale shopping center in Dallas, Texas, United States, just across from NorthPark Center. It is the shopping part of the Park Lane Development located at 8080 Park Lane, which includes The Heights, an apartment complex, and a set of office buildings. This mixed-use development was designed by TBG Partners, a landscape architecture firm in Austin, Texas, [1] and developed by developer Harvest Partners of Dallas. [2] [3]
The Shops at Park Lane opened in 2009 as Park Lane with anchor stores including Dick's Sporting Goods [4] and the third Nordstrom Rack in the state. [5] Whole Foods Market also opened a flagship store at Park Lane. [6] Saks Fifth Avenue opened an Off Fifth outlet store soon afterward. Also part of the center are residences and 350,000 square feet of office space. [7] Other early tenants included Lane Bryant and The Children's Place. Overall, the retail center includes 750,000 square feet of retail space. [8]
In 2010, the center was renamed from Park Lane as it added Old Navy and Ulta. [9] Later that year, Northwood Investors of New York City acquired the property, though the original developers retained a financial stake and continue to operate the project. [10]
In 2014, it was announced that the center added a pilates studio, Studio 6 Fitness and will add Bar Louie and Zyn22 Spin Studio before the end of the year. The announcement also shared additions for 2015, including a 2,500 square foot flagship Starbucks as well as Zoe's Kitchen, a boutique pet store called Unleashed by Petco and a men's big and tall clothing store called DXL. [11] Finally, the Shops at Park Lane was completed in 2015. [12]
The Shops at Park Lane shows a sustainable design. The extensive green roof has 23 different plant species, 4 of which are native Texan plants. It also has 5 water fountains across the development along with stone and concrete pavement to lower the Texan summer heat. Also, it has an extensive bosque of trees, providing 24% of shade in areas with no roof. [13]

The original store opened in the F Street shopping district of Washington, D.C. in 1867. Saks expanded into Manhattan with its Herald Square store in 1902 and flagship store on Fifth Avenue in 1924. The chain was acquired by Tennessee-based Proffitt's, Inc. in 1998, and Saks, Inc. was acquired by the Canadian-based Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) in 2013.

The development consists of a retail complex, as well as the Galleria Office Towers complex, two Westin hotels, and a private health club. The Galleria Dallas is a shopping mall and mixed-use development located at the intersection of Interstate 635 and the Dallas North Tollway in the North Dallas neighborhood of Dallas, Texas, United States. It was originally developed by Hines Interests Limited Partnership in 1982. It was modeled after a similar Hines development, the Houston Galleria, which opened in 1970. Both malls have ice rinks and a glass vaulted ceiling that is modeled after the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, Italy. The mall features Macy's and Nordstrom.
NorthPark Center, sometimes referred to as simply NorthPark, is a enclosed shopping mall in Dallas, Texas. It is at the intersection of Loop 12 (Northwest Highway) and US 75. Opened in 1965, it now has over 235 stores and restaurants and annual sales of over $1 billion. It is the 20th-largest shopping mall in the US. The mall features the traditional retailers Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus, in addition to AMC Theatres, and Eataly. The mall features prominent specialty retailers such as AllSaints, UpWest, Psycho Bunny, Vuori, Golden Goose, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, and Versace.
The Block Northway is a shopping mall in Ross Township, north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located at the corner of McKnight Road and Babcock Boulevard, just north of Ross Park Mall. Westlake Center is a four-story shopping center and 25-story office tower in downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. The southern terminus of the Seattle Center Monorail, it is located across Pine Street from Westlake Park, between 4th and 5th Avenues. It is named for Westlake Avenue, which now terminates north of the mall but once ran two blocks farther south to Pike Street. Westlake Park is considered Seattle's "town square" and celebrities and political figures often make appearances or give speeches from the building's balcony. It features two units, the main mall and the outside being the Shops at North East Mall both encompassing a total of 2,134,000 square feet and featuring 135 stores. The mall features Macy's, Dillard's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Penney's.

Lesso Home New York is a planned mixed-use development center located in Westbury, New York, on Old Country Road and Merchants Concourse, currently owned by Lesso Mall Development Long Island Inc. The center is being built inside the mostly unoccupied Mall at the Source, which was named for its former anchor store Fortunoff operated until June 2009.
Valley View Center is a former mall located at Interstate 635 and Preston Road in north Dallas, Texas, U.S. It is owned and managed by Dallas-based Beck Ventures. The mall was formerly home to anchor stores that were once JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, and Dillard's. The demolition of the mall was completed in May 2023.

The Parks Mall at Arlington is a shopping mall that opened in 1988 at 3811 South Cooper Street and Interstate 20 in South Arlington, Texas between Fort Worth and Dallas. It went through a renovation in 1996. It is one of the leading shopping destinations in the Metroplex. The Dallas Morning News calls it "An overcrowded entertainment destination". It is the third-largest mall in Tarrant County behind its competitor, North East Mall. Major anchor stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, J. C. Penney, Macy's, and Nordstrom Rack.
Six Flags Mall was a shopping mall that opened in August 1970 in Arlington, Texas. Arlington's first enclosed shopping center, it was named after the nearby Six Flags Over Texas theme park. When it opened, it was the largest shopping center in Tarrant County and the area's first regional shopping facility. A new owner acquired roughly one-third of the mall in December 2012 and announced plans to redevelop it as a Hispanic-oriented shopping mall called "Plaza Central" and, after resolving legal issues, reopened in October 2014, but closed again in February 2016. Demolition began in summer of 2016, but was slowed by a lawsuit filed by Cinemark. Two separate two-alarm fires occurred on February 6 and March 2 during demolition. The site was rebuilt as industrial space to accommodate suppliers to the GM auto assembly plant.

Legacy West contains 415,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant and office space, a 55,000 sq ft food hall, over 1,300 residential units and a 303-room Renaissance Hotel. It is bordered on the south by the curving Legacy Drive and Headquarters Drive, on the north by the Sam Rayburn Tollway, on the east by the Dallas North Tollway, and on the west by the exit to Headquarters Drive from Sam Rayburn Tollway.
