Catherine Bush is an English singer, songwriter, record producer and dancer. In 1978, at the age of 19, she topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks with her debut single "Wuthering Heights", becoming the first female artist to achieve a UK number one with a self-written song. Bush has since released 25 UK Top 40 singles, including the Top 10 hits "The Man with the Child in His Eyes", "Babooshka", "Running Up That Hill", "Don't Give Up", and "King of the Mountain". All nine of her studio albums reached the UK Top 10, with all but one reaching the top five, including the UK number one albums Never for Ever (1980), Hounds of Love (1985) and the greatest hits compilation The Whole Story (1986). She was the first British solo female artist to top the UK album charts and the first female artist to enter the album chart at number one.
The Kick Inside is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Kate Bush. Released on 17 February 1978 by EMI Records, it includes her UK No. 1 hit, "Wuthering Heights". It has since been certified Gold by the BPI. It features the UK Top 20 singles "Breathing", "Army Dreamers" and "Babooshka", the latter being one of Bush's biggest hits. Bush co-produced the album with Jon Kelly.
This Woman's Work: Anthology 1978–1990 is a compilation box set by the English singer-songwriter Kate Bush. Released in 1990 on CD, vinyl and cassette; it comprises her six studio albums to that point together with two additional albums of B-sides, rarities and remixes. The box set was re-released on CD only in 1998 in different packaging.

"Moving" opens with whale song sampled from Songs of the Humpback Whale, an LP including recordings of whale vocalisations made by Dr. Roger S. Payne.

The parent album, released on 13 November 1978 reached No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart. "Hammer Horror"'s low chart position proved to be a temporary phenomenon, as Bush's next single returned her to the top 20. In other countries it fared better, including in Ireland and Australia, where the song reached No. 10 and No.17 respectively.

"Suspended in Gaffa" is a song recorded by English art rock singer Kate Bush. It was the fourth single release from her album The Dreaming. "Suspended in Gaffa" was released as a single in continental Europe and Australia, but not in the UK.
"Ne t'enfuis pas" is a song written and recorded by Kate Bush. An entirely French-language track, it was released in July 1983 in France and Canada. The song was originally released as the B-side of the singles "There Goes a Tenner" in the UK and Ireland, and "Suspended in Gaffa" in continental Europe. On those singles, the title was misspelled as "Ne T'en Fui Pas".

It was released exclusively in East Germany in 1984 by Amiga and contains tracks from her first three studio albums The Kick Inside, Lionheart and Never for Ever. Although being released two years after The Dreaming, it doesn't contain any songs from the album.
