The Voice Senior is an Italian reality singing competition for elders of more than 60 years old, and a senior version of The Voice of Italy . The series is produced by Rai 2 after acquiring the show from the original Holland version, making Italy the 12th country to start producing The Voice Senior . The show began airing on November 27, 2020. [1]
The coaches are Gigi D'Alessio, Clementino, Loredana Bertè and the duo Al Bano & Jasmine Carrisi. The host of the show is Antonella Clerici. [2] On 16 July 2021, it announced that the second season would be produced with Orietta Berti announced as the new coach, replacing Al Bano & Jasmine Carrisi. The third season of the reality show premiered on January 13, 2023, with Ricchi e Poveri replacing Orietta. The fourth season premiered on February 16, 2024, with Arisa replacing Ricchi e Poveri.
In October 2020 it was announced that Gigi D'Alessio, Italian rapper Clementino, and Loredana Bertè will be the coaches for the first season of the show. On the same day, it was announced that Al Bano would coach with his daughter, Jasmine Carrisi, as a duo coach. On 16 July 2021, it was announced that Orietta Berti would replace Al Bano and Jasmine for season two.

Loredana Bertè is an Italian singer, songwriter and actress. In her long career she has worked with prominent Italian songwriters such as Pino Daniele, Ivano Fossati, Mario Lavezzi, Mango and Enrico Ruggeri, among others; her sister Mia Martini was also an acclaimed singer. She has experimented with different genres, from rock to reggae, from funk to pop. Bertè is known for the eccentric clothing she wears onstage for her performances.
Albano Antonio Carrisi, better known as Al Bano, is an Italian tenor and actor. Having sold over 25 million records globally and career spanning seven decades, he is one of the most recognisable Italian singers in the world. He has gained worldwide notability due to his four and a half octave vocal range as well as his personal and professional association with Romina Power, daughter of Hollywood actor Tyrone Power, lasting until the 1990s. Carrisi is acclaimed for singing with operatic affinity in pop, rock and italo disco repertoires with extensive head voice and minimal usage of falsetto vocal register. As of 2023, he has participated in 15 editions of the Sanremo Music Festival, tying the record for most participations with Anna Oxa, Milva, Peppino di Capri and Toto Cutugno; this includes a victory in 1984 duetting with Power. He additionally took part in the Sanremo Giovani selection in 1965.

Loredana Lecciso is an Italian entertainer. She is also known for appearances on tabloid talk shows. She became famous as the girlfriend of celebrated Italian singer Albano Carrisi, with whom she had a daughter and a son. They separated after several public frictions and then got back together after some time.

The second edition of The Voice Kids aired in prime time on Rai 1 from November 24 to December 22, 2023, for five episodes with the hosting of Antonella Clerici. The Voice Kids is an Italian TV series. It is a spin-off of The Voice of Italy, but instead of having contestants of all ages, the spin-off exclusively features children aged 7 to 14. The coaches for the first season were the same as those from the third season of The Voice Senior, being Gigi D'Alessio, Loredana Bertè, Clementino and Ricchi e Poveri. Antonella Clerici presented the show. On July 26, 2023, it was reported that singer, Arisa, would join the show for its second season, replacing Ricchi e Poveri.
