The only countries with more appearances are Germany (67), France (66) and the United Kingdom (66). Belgium have been absent only three times in total, in 1994, 1997, and 2001, due to low scores in the previous contests that relegated them from the contest. Belgium has won the contest once, in 1986.

La Voz Kids is a Mexican singing competition television series for contestants aged 7 to 15 and is broadcast on Azteca Uno. The show originally premiered March 12, 2017 on Las Estrellas. It is based on The Voice franchise created by television producer John de Mol. The show's rights were acquired by TV Azteca in 2020 for its third season.

The Voice Kids is the junior version of The Voice Portugal, broadcast on RTP1, with competitors between the ages of seven and fifteen. The first season premiered in 2014, and the show did not come back for a second season until 2021. In April 2019, RTP1 announced a reboot of the show, which was set to premiere in 2020, but ended up being postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
Lissandro Formica, known mononymously as Lissandro, is a French singer best known for winning the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Oh Maman !". Previously, in 2020, he reached the final of the seventh season of the French version of The Voice Kids.
