He was widely acknowledged as the only Zimbabwe batsman of proper test quality in any conditions. After retirement,he served as the coach of the English cricket team from 2009 to 2014. Flower became the second foreign coach in the team's history. Currently,he is the Head Coach of Lucknow Super Giants in Indian Premier League. He also works as the head coach of the Multan Sultans and St Lucia Kings.
The Zimbabwe national cricket team,also known as Chevrons represents Zimbabwe in men's international cricket and is administered by Zimbabwe Cricket. Zimbabwe has been a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1991. As of 7 April 2021,Zimbabwe is currently ranked 10th in Tests,12th in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 11th in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) by the ICC.
Paurina Gwanyanya Mpariwa,sometimes written as Paurine Mpariwa,is a member of the Pan-African Parliament from Zimbabwe. Mpariwa is the chair of the Public Accounts Committee.
Didymus Noel Edwin Mutasa is a Zimbabwean politician who served as Zimbabwe's Speaker of Parliament from 1980 to 1990. Subsequently he held various ministerial posts working under President Robert Mugabe in the President's Office. He was Minister of State for Presidential Affairs from 2009 to 2014 and also served as ZANU-PF's Secretary for Administration.

Morgan Richard Tsvangirai was a Zimbabwean politician who was Prime Minister of Zimbabwe from 2009 to 2013. He was President of the Movement for Democratic Change,and later the Movement for Democratic Change –Tsvangirai (MDC–T),and a key figure in the opposition to former President Robert Mugabe.
Samuel Sipepa Nkomo is a former Zimbabwe Minister of Water Resources Development and Management. He was nominated for appointment to the Senate of Zimbabwe as a non-constituency senator.
Fidelis Mhashu was a Zimbabwean politician who served as Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities from 2009 to 2013. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Chitungwiza North (MDC-T) until his death.

Andrew Langa is the former Zimbabwe government minister of Culture and Sports He is the Member of House of Assembly for Insiza North (ZANU-PF). Since 2005 he has been on the United States sanctions list.
