Andrew Langa (born 13 January 1965) is the former Zimbabwe government minister of Culture and Sports [1] He is the Member of House of Assembly for Insiza North (ZANU-PF). Since 2005 he has been on the United States sanctions list. [2]
The prime minister of Zimbabwe was a political office in the government of Zimbabwe that existed on two occasions. The first person to hold the position was Robert Mugabe from 1980 to 1987 following independence from the United Kingdom. He took office when Southern Rhodesia became the Republic of Zimbabwe on 18 April 1980. This position was abolished when the constitution was amended in 1987 and Mugabe became president of Zimbabwe, replacing Canaan Banana as the head of state while also remaining the head of government. The office of prime minister was restored in 2009 and held by Morgan Tsvangirai until the position was again abolished by the 2013 Constitution of Zimbabwe.

Ignatius Morgen Chiminya Chombo is a Zimbabwean politician who was Finance Minister of Zimbabwe in 2017. Previously he has served in the Cabinet of Zimbabwe as Minister of Home Affairs from 2015 to 2017, Minister of Local Government, Public Works and Urban Development from 2000 to 2015.
Chenhamo "Chen" Chakezha Chimutengwende was the Minister of State for Public and Interactive Affairs in Zimbabwe and a longstanding supporter of Robert Mugabe. On 31 March 2008 he lost his parliamentary seat in the general election, which ended his 23-year career as a Member of Parliament. Since September 2009 he has been chairman of the Zimbabwe Foundation for Sustainable Development.
Ambrose Mutinhiri is a Zimbabwean politician, formally served as the Minister of Youth Development and Employment Creation. A retired army commander and brigadier, he was appointed as Minister of Youth Development, Gender and Employment Creation on February 9, 2004. He was trained in Russia during the Rhodesian Bush War. He is known for training the best calibre of soldiers during this period, even the late General Solomon Mujuru testified that he was trained by Mutinhiri.
Webster Kotiwani Shamu is a Zimbabwean politician and former Minister of Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs who was fired by President Emmerson Mnangagwa on 21 May 2018. He previously served as Minister of Information and Publicity, and as Minister of State for Policy Implementation. He is a member of parliament representing the Chegutu constituency. The Cabinet of Zimbabwe was later dissolved on 27 November 2017.
Michael Rueben Nyambuya is a Zimbabwean politician and military officer who has served as Governor of Manicaland and as Minister of Energy and Power Development.
John Landa Nkomo, was a Zimbabwean politician who served as Vice-President of Zimbabwe from 2009 to 2013. After serving for years as a minister in the government of Zimbabwe, he was the Speaker of Parliament from 2005 to 2008. He was then appointed to the Senate in 2008 and was Minister of State in the President's Office in 2009. Nkomo was also a key figure in the Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF); he was National Chairman of ZANU–PF until December 2009, when he was elected as Vice President of ZANU–PF. As a consequence of his elevation to the party's vice presidency, he also became Vice President of Zimbabwe in December 2009.
Cain Ginyilitshe Ndabazekhaya Mathema is a Zimbabwean politician and writer. He has held various cabinet roles in the Zimbabwean government. He is a member of Zanu-PF. He was born in Sipepa, Tsholotsho District.
Walter Mzembi is a Zimbabwean politician. He previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry. He was the Member of the House of Assembly for Masvingo South (ZANU-PF). It was announced on November 27, 2017, that Simbarashe Mumbengegwi was now the acting Foreign Minister of Zimbabwe. In October 2020, it was revealed Mzembi was among those who fled to South Africa before their criminal trials could be completed.
Samuel Sipepa Nkomo is a former Zimbabwe Minister of Water Resources Development and Management. He was nominated for appointment to the Senate of Zimbabwe as a non-constituency senator.
Sylvester Robert Nguni was the Zimbabwean Minister of State in the office of Vice-President Joyce Mujuru. A member of ZANU–PF, he was the Member of House of Assembly for Mhondoro–Mubaira. He was placed on the United States sanctions list from 2005 until 2016.
Murisi Zwizwai is a Zimbabwean politician from Movement for Democratic Change – Tsvangirai who served as Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development. He was the Member of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe for Harare Central first elected in 2003. He was re-elected in the 2022 by-election.
Michael Chakanaka Bimha is a Zimbabwean politician serving as Minister of State for Industry and Commerce and former Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce. He is the member of House of Assembly for Chikomba West (ZANU-PF). He is a previous chairman of Air Zimbabwe. In 2013, following Zanu PF's victory in the country elections, Bimha was appointed Minister of Industry and Commerce, replacing Welshman Ncube.
Reuben Marumahoko is a former Zimbabwe Deputy Minister of Regional Integration and International Cooperation. and former Senator for Hurungwe (ZANU-PF). Since 2003, he is placed on the United States sanctions list.
Lazarus Dokora was the Zimbabwe Minister of Education, Sport and Culture. On 27 November 2017, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who succeeded ousted President Robert Mugabe, announced the dissolution of the Zimbabwe Cabinet, leaving only Patrick Chinamasa and Simbarashe Mumbengegwi as acting ministers of Finance and Foreign Affairs respectively. Dokora was an MP from Rushinga National Assembly, before losing to Wonder Mashange in the general elections in 2013. He was appointed as the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education on 30 November 2017 by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. He was dropped by Mnangagwa as Minister for Primary and Secondary Education on 2 December 2017 amidst Zimbabweans on social media and radio shows criticizing him, blaming him of poor performance and undermining the country's education system. He was replaced by his deputy minister Paul Mavima. In relation to the issue with radio stations, he was interviewed by Farai Mwakutuya. The interview took place during a talk show called Head-On on radio ZI-FM.
Walter Chidhakwa is the former Minister of Mines and Mining Development of Zimbabwe. He is the Member of House of Assembly for Zvimba South (ZANU-PF). He was arrested on 21 December 2017 and charged with criminal abuse of office regarding the Mining Ministry parastatal Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe.
Christopher Tichaona Kuruneri was a Zimbabwean businessman, politician, lawyer, farmer and philanthropist. He was a Minister of Finance, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Development and member of parliament for Mount Darwin East. Kuruneri was a member of Zanu-PF. He owned Ascotvale farm in the Mazowe valley in Zimbabwe.
Joel Biggie Matiza was a Zimbabwean politician and the Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development since 2018. He died from COVID-19 on 22 January 2021.
