Tommie Robinson (born April 4, 1963) is an American football coach who was most recently the running backs coach at Texas A&M University.
Robinson was a three-year starter at strong safety for the Trojans. There he was a player on the 1984 Division II national championship team under Chan Gailey.
Robinson began his coaching career at the high school level beginning in 1986 as an assistant at Woodham High School in Pensacola, Florida. After two years there he returned to his alma mater Central High School Red Devils in Phenix City, Alabama where he served as an assistant [1] for three years.
Robinson began coaching on the college level in 1991 as a graduate assistant for the Arkansas Razorbacks. In the 1992 and 1993 season he served as the running backs coach for the Utah State Aggies. From 1994 to 1997, Robinson worked as the wide receivers coach for Texas Christian University. In 1998 Robinson made the jump to coach in the National football League for the Dallas Cowboys under his college head coach Chan Gailey as the teams wide receivers coach and to work with the special teams. Even after Gailey was fired following the 1999 season he was kept on as a part of Dave Campo for the 2000 season. In 2001 Robinson joined the Oklahoma State Cowboys as their running backs coach but only stayed for that one year. The next four years were spent coaching at Georgia Tech. In 2002 he coached the wide receivers and the following three years he served as the team's running backs coach. In 2006 he spent a lone season in Memphis serving as the Tigers’ running backs coach. From 2007 to 2009 Robinson was working as the Hurricanes running backs coach. In 2010 he returned to the NFL this time as a part of the Cardinals organization where he stayed until 2012. In 2013 Robinson was the pass game coordinator and running backs coach for the USC Trojans [2] team that went through three head coaches in the season. From 2014 to 2015 Robinson served as the Texas Longhorns running backs coach. In 2016 Robinson returned to USC [3] [4] as the team's run game coordinator and running backs coach. In 2017 Robinson joined the LSU Tigers [5] under Ed Orgeron (who he coached under at USC) where he served as recruiting coordinator, assistant head coach, and running backs coach. [6] He stayed there until the end of the 2019 college football playoffs championship. [1] In 2020 he joined Texas A&M under coach Jimbo Fisher as the team's running backs coach. Robinson and his wife, Lartonyar, have three children.
Robert Anthony Stoops is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL). He was the head football coach at the University of Oklahoma from 1999 through the 2016 season, and on an interim basis during the 2021 Alamo Bowl. He led the Oklahoma Sooners to a record of 191–48 over his career. His 2000 Oklahoma Sooners football team won the 2001 Orange Bowl, which served as the BCS National Championship Game, and earned a consensus national championship. Since 2020, Stoops has been a head coach with the XFL, coaching the Renegades in 2020 and has been re-signed for 2023. Stoops' Renegades won the XFL Championship in 2023.
Edward James Orgeron Jr. is a former American football coach. He was most recently the head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), a position he held from midway through the 2016 season until the 2021 season. Orgeron previously served as the head football coach at the University of Mississippi from 2005 to 2007 and was the interim head coach at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2013. He led the 2019 LSU Tigers football team to a national championship, beating the defending champions Clemson in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship.

John Alexander Robinson is an American former football coach best known for his two stints as head coach of the University of Southern California (USC) football team and for his tenure as head coach of the NFL's Los Angeles Rams (1983–1991). Robinson's USC teams won four Rose Bowls and captured a share of the national championship in the 1978 season. Robinson is one of the few college football head coaches to have non-consecutive tenure at the same school. In 2009, he was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame.
Richard Copeland Slocum is a former American football player and coach who is currently a special assistant to the president at Texas A&M University. He has also served as interim athletics director at the university from January through June 2019 and again from January through March 2023, and previously served as the head football coach there from 1989 to 2002. He has won more games as coach (123) than anyone else in Texas A&M Aggies football history. Slocum was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2012.
Paul Roger Hackett is a former American football coach. He served as head football coach of University of Pittsburgh from 1989 to 1992 and at the University of Southern California (USC) from 1998 to 2000. Hackett was quarterbacks coach or offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Oakland Raiders.
Thomas Chandler Gailey Jr. is a former American football coach. Most recently in 2020, he was the offensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). Gailey has previously served as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and Buffalo Bills from 1998 to 2012.
Tamaurice Nigel "Tee" Martin is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the quarterbacks coach for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee, University of Southern California, University of Kentucky, University of New Mexico, North Atlanta HS, North Cobb HS, and Morehouse College.
Larry Dean Smith was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Tulane University (1976–1979), the University of Arizona (1980–1986), the University of Southern California (1987–1992), and the University of Missouri (1994–2000).
Alfred Theodore Tollner is an American former football coach. He was the head coach at the University of Southern California (USC) from 1983 to 1986 and San Diego State University (SDSU) from 1994 to 2001, compiling an overall college football record of 69–68–1. Tollner also was an assistant coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, including stints as offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions.
The Troy Trojans football program represents Troy University at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level, where it has competed since 2001. The football program joined the Sun Belt Conference in 2004. The current head football coach is Gerad Parker. Troy has won 23 conference championships, with eight in the Sun Belt Conference. The Trojans play home games at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Troy, Alabama.
The 1997 USC Trojans football team represented the University of Southern California during the 1997 NCAA Division I-A football season, finishing with a 6–5 record and tied for fifth place in the Pacific-10 Conference with a 4–4 conference record; despite a qualifying record, the Trojans were not invited to a bowl game. The team was coached by John Robinson, in his second stint as head coach of the Trojans, and played their home games at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Robert L. "Mickey" Joseph is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach for Grambling State University, a position he has held since 2024. He served as the interim head coach at the University of Nebraska in 2022. Joseph was the associate head coach and wide receivers coach at Louisiana State University (LSU) from 2017 to 2021, and was also head football coach at Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma, from 2011 to 2012.
