Storylines

While on holiday in Portugal, Toni meets Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and agrees to return to Emmerdale with him, pretending to be his internet girlfriend, "Fireblade." This scheme is intended to unsettle Paddy's receptionist, Jo Stiles (Roxanne Pallett), who is attracted to the mysterious stranger, as a way to boost Paddy's confidence. After the joke runs its course, Toni reveals that she is the fun-loving cousin of Danny Daggert (Cleveland Campbell) and settles into village life.

Toni impresses Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) and lands a job at the Woolpack pub, working behind the bar. During her time in the village, she has a one-night stand with Ivan Jones (Daniel Brocklebank), much to the dismay of Nicola Blackstock's (Nicola Wheeler). Toni later sets her sights on Paddy's business partner, Hari Prasad (John Nayagam), hoping for a date, but remains oblivious to Paddy's growing feelings for her. When Paddy confesses his love, Toni accuses him of sabotaging her chances with Hari, creating tension between them. Eventually, they manage to work through the awkwardness.

Toni later regrets rejecting Paddy when he begins a relationship with Del Dingle (Hayley Tamaddon), and she realizes her own feelings for him. She tries to win him back, leading to a confrontation with Del in the Woolpack kitchen. The argument turns physical, and Toni is accidentally burned with hot fat. Despite the accident, Paddy is appalled by Del's actions and ends their relationship. Paddy and Toni reconcile, and they eventually become engaged after a proposal, though it is later revealed to be accidental, leading to their breakup.

Before leaving the village, Toni makes peace with both Paddy and Del, concluding her time in Emmerdale on good terms.
