Tony Booth (born 17 April 1974) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1990 to 2008. At regional level, he challenged once for the Commonwealth cruiserweight title in 1994, and once for the British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight titles in 1998. During his career, Booth held the record for the most wins of any active British professional boxer.
Booth challenged Franco Wanyama on 28 January 1994, for the vacant Commonwealth cruiserweight title, losing by technical knockout in the second round. [1]
Booth challenged Crawford Ashley on 9 June 1998, for the British and vacant Commonwealth light-heavyweight titles, losing by TKO in the sixth round. [2]
Following his loss to Ashley, Booth defeated undefeated American boxer Omar Sheika (14–0, 9 KOs), by a points decision (PTS). [3]
Booth faced World Amateur Boxing Championships silver medalist David Haye at the York Hall in London on 8 December 2002, in what was Haye's professional debut, losing by corner retirement in the second round. [4]
Booth faced undefeated heavyweight Derek Chisora at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on 7 April 2007, on the undercard of Joe Calzaghe's successful WBO super-middleweight title defence against Peter Manfredo Jr., losing on PTS, by 40–36. [5]
In 2012, Booth was jailed for drug offences. [6]

David Deron Haye is a British former professional boxer who competed between 2002 and 2018. He held multiple world championships in two weight classes, and was the first British boxer to reach the final of the World Amateur Boxing Championships, where he won a silver medal in 2001.
Anthony William Mundine OAM is an Australian former boxer, and one of the country's most accomplished Indigenous fighters. The only Australian boxer to compete professionally in four weight divisions, he held the Australian middleweight, light heavyweight, cruiserweight and heavyweight titles, as well as the Commonwealth middleweight and light heavyweight titles. Wanyama defeated notable fighters such as Jimmy Thunder, Carl Thompson and Johnny Nelson and was sparring partner to Vitali Klitschko & Wladimir Klitschko. He lived his last years in Rugby, Warwickshire, England and had 3 children, Shannon Wanyama, Nellie Wanyama and Wanga Wanyama.
