Tournafulla GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Tournafulla, County Limerick, Ireland. The club is primarily concerned with the game of hurling.
Located in the village of Tournafulla in West Limerick, Tournafulla GAA Club was founded by Fr. Michael Byrne in 1889. The club has competed in all grades of hurling in Limerick, however, as the county's smallest, the club has struggled to field teams on occasions due to emigration. [2]
Tournafulla has enjoyed a number of championship successes over the years, however, one of the club's biggest occasions was appearing in the 1979 SHC final, only to lose to Patrickswell. [3] The club enjoyed one of its greatest-ever seasons in 2003, winning the Limerick IHC, Limerick U21HC and Limerick JBHL titles. [4] Tournafulla won the Limerick JAHC title in 2018 after beating arch-rivals Killeedy in the final. [5] [6]

Kieran Murphy is an Irish former sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Sarsfields and was a member of the Cork senior inter-county team from 2003 until 2011. Murphy was appointed captain of the team for 2010. Murphy announced his retirement from inter-county hurling in 2011 due to work commitments outside the Cork area.

Gary Kirby is an Irish hurling manager and former player. He was named in a list of the "125 greatest stars of the GAA" in 2009, in which he was described as "one of the best players never to win an All-Ireland senior medal". As a centre-forward, his playing career at club level was with Patrickswell and at inter-county level with Limerick. He was a key member of the latter team during the resurgence of the 1990s and collected two Munster titles, two National Hurling League titles and four All-Star awards.
Andrew O'Shaughnessy is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Kilmallock and was a member of the Limerick senior inter-county team from 2002 to 2011.

Claughaun Gaelic Athletic Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club within Limerick GAA, based in St Brigid's parish on the southside of Limerick City, Ireland. The club was founded in 1902, in the Poulin/Pennywell area of St John's parish. It has considerable success over the years in both hurling and Gaelic football. The club grounds are located on the Childers Road, at what has become a prominent venue for games of all levels. The club was relegated to intermediate status in both football and hurling following the 2010 championships. Clauaghaun returned to the Limerick Senior Football Championship after winning the 2020 Limerick Intermediate Football Championship.
Kilmallock GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Kilmallock in County Limerick, Ireland. The club is almost exclusively concerned with the game of hurling.
