Sheppard Avenue is an east–west principal arterial road in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The street has two distinct branches near its eastern end, with the original route being a collector road leading to Pickering via a turnoff, and the main route following a later-built roadway which runs south to Kingston Road. To avoid name duplication, the Toronto portion of the northern branch was renamed Twyn Rivers Drive. The section of the street entirely in Toronto is (34.2 km) in length, while the Pickering section and Twyn Rivers Dr. is (5.4 km) long.
Metro Hall is a 27-storey Postmodern-style office tower at the corner of Wellington and John Street in the city's downtown core of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It looks out onto Pecaut Square. Part of the three-tower Metro Centre complex, the building was completed in 1992 to house the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto (Metro) and its employees. The building is now used by the City of Toronto following municipal consolidation in 1998.
The William H. Wright Building was a six-storey office building located at 140 King Street West in Toronto, Ontario, at the corner of King and York streets. Designed by the firm Mathers and Haldenby and built between 1937 and 1938, it was one of Toronto's best examples of streamline moderne architecture. The building was home to The Globe and Mail newspaper and was named after the founder of that paper, William Henry Wright (1876-1951). In 1974 it was demolished to make way for the new Exchange Tower.

Lord Simcoe Hotel was one of many now vanished hotels in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built in 1956, the 20-storey concrete and glass modernist structure was designed by Henry T. Langston and Peter Dickinson. The hotel was named for John Graves Simcoe, Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada and a resident of York, Upper Canada. The name was somewhat incorrect as Simcoe was never called himself a Lord.

Massey Tower is a new complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, being built spanning the block below Shuter Street, between Yonge and Victoria streets. The Northeast corner of the complex will add much needed backstage space to historic Massey Hall. To the south of the complex lies the historic Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres. The Yonge Street facade will use the 1905 Canadian Bank of Commerce headquarters, at 197 Yonge Street, vacant since 1987. The complex's tower will rise 60 storeys and stand 208.3 metres (683 ft) in height.

Harbour Plaza Residences is a mixed-use development in the South Core district of Toronto, Ontario. It consists of 63 and 67 storey condominium towers and 200,000 square feet of retail space. Harbour Plaza’s soaring towers are anchored by a retail podium, in addition to the One York Street commercial office tower also known as the Sun Life Financial Tower. The two residential towers, rising to 237M (778ft) and 228M (748ft), are the tallest twin buildings in Canada. The complex was developed by Menkes Developments Ltd.
