Trident Arts is an Indian film production and distribution company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1987 by R. Ravindran. Since then, it has produced and distributed several Tamil films. [1]

Trident Arts was set up by R. Ravindran in 1987. Since then it has distributed several Tamil films in region wise in Tamil Nadu, [2] then moved to a major distributor with the movies including Vikram Vedha , Tamizh Padam 2 , Ratsasan , Seethakaathi , Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 and Kadaram Kondan . The company has produced films including Shivalinga , Lakshmi and Action . [3] Its latest release was Kasada Thapara , released on 27 August 2021 in SonyLIV. [4] The company's next productions are Enna Solla Pogirai , directed by A. Hariharan, starring Ashwin Kumar and Avantika Mishra, [5] Hostel, directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan, starring Ashok Selvan and Priya Bhavani Shankar, [6] [7] and Shot Boot 3, directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, starring Venkat Prabhu and Sneha. Radhakrishnan Parthiban is an Indian actor and film director who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He has directed 16 films, produced 14 films and acted in more than 70 films. He started his career as assistant director for K. Bhagyaraj in 1984 and the duo worked in over 20 films from 1984 to 1991. He has quit mainstream acting and has opened an agency to represent comedy shows known as 'Tamarai Bharani Comedy Agency'. He once hosted a program "Kalakkal Comedy" on Sun TV. He worked as assistant to the former Indian President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam for seven years. He was also a children's education advocate.

Kodi Ramakrishna was an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor. One of the most prolific directors of Telugu cinema, he directed over 100 feature films in a variety of genres. He is known as a celluloid visionary who introduced high-end visual effects to the South Indian film industry through his supernatural fantasy films. In 2012, he received the state Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for his lifetime contribution to Telugu cinema.

Thalapathy Dinesh is an Indian action choreographer who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He started his career in the cinema as an extra fighter in Naan Sigappu Manithan and later he became as a stunt master and actor. Stunt masters like Stun Siva, Peter Hein, Anal Arasu, Rajasekhar, Hari Dinesh, Pradeep Dinesh, Supreme Sundar, Vicky and Theeppori Nithya have worked as fighters and assistants to him. His sons Hari Dinesh and Pradeep Dinesh are also stunt masters.

Super Subbarayan is a stunt co-ordinator and actor in the Indian cinema, mainly in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. He has been working in the industry since 1980. Stunt masters and actors like Rocky Rajesh, Thalapathy Dinesh, Ponnambalam, Ram Laxman, Kundrathur Babu, Indian Baskar, Rajasekhar, Dhilip Subbarayan, Thavasiraj, and Dinesh Subbarayan have worked as fighters and assistants to him. His sons, Dhilip Subbarayan and Dinesh Subbarayan, are also leading stunt masters. He has won four Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Stunt Coordinator.

<i>Enna Solla Pogirai</i> 2022 romantic comedy film

Enna Solla Pogirai is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by A. Hariharan in his directorial debut. The film stars Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, Teju Ashwini and Avantika Mishra, with Pugazh, Delhi Ganesh, Subbu Panchu and Swaminathan in supporting roles. It was released on January 13, 2022, to overwhelmingly negative reviews and eventually turned into a box office bomb.
