Trinity Methodist Church, also known as Old Trinity Methodist Church, is a historic Methodist church and national historic district located at Broad and Lower Streets in Elizabethtown, Bladen County, North Carolina. It was built about 1848, and is a two-story, rectangular, frame Federal-style church. Surrounding the church on three sides is the church cemetery. [2]
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. [1]

McBee Methodist Church, also known as McBee Chapel, is an octagonal, brick, United Methodist church building on Main Street in Conestee, Greenville County, South Carolina. Built in 1856, it was designed by millwright John Adams and named for Vardry McBee (1775–1864), the "Father of Greenville," whose son donated the money to build it. The church was built with a balcony used by slaves. When the balcony was removed sometime following the Civil War, its separate door, to the left of the main entrance, was converted into another window.

The front facade includes a five-bay arcade entrance beneath a low conical roof, flanked by square corner towers of unequal height. Trinity United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church building located near Ellett, Montgomery County, Virginia. It was built between 1908 and 1910, and is a one-story, four-bay, nave plan brick structure. It has a two-stage corner tower, containing a vestibule at the northwest corner. The second stage of the tower takes the form of an open belfry with sawn brackets supporting a conical cap with finial. A Sunday school wing added in 1961.
Albert Lawrence West, known as A. L. West, was an American architect based in Richmond, Virginia. His work is in Virginia and North Carolina and includes the Pasquotank County Courthouse (1883) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He began his career as a carpenter and builder. He worked as an engineer and architect for the Confederacy during the American Civil War. As an architect he designed several Methodist churches. He wrote The Architect and Builder's Vade-Mecum and Book of Reference in 1871. He became a fellow in the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) towards the end of his career and was the first native Virginian so honored. His son William C. West (1870-1950) was also an architect.

Asbury Methodist Church, also known as Asbury Memorial Church and Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church South, is a historic Methodist church located at Raynham, Robeson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1861, and is a one-story, timber-frame building in a modest Greek Revival style. It measures approximately 40 feet by 50 feet and features a prominent, projecting, pedimented front gable supported by five posts. Adjacent to the church is the contributing cemetery with approximately 200 marked graves. The oldest grave dates to 1848.
