Ukshi railway station is a station on the Konkan Railway in India. It is located between Sangameshwar Road railway station and Bhoke [1] 5 km east of District headquarters, 19 km from Ratnagiri, and 256 km from Mumbai. Ranpat Falls is nearby. [2] Ukshi railway station is located 183.962 kilometre south of Roha railway station which is starting point for Konkan railway jurisdiction.

Karbude tunnel

A 6.5 km-long tunnel known as the Karbude Tunnel is part of the railway. It is situated between Ukshi and Bhoke Stations. It is the line's longest tunnel. The Karbude Tunnel remained India's longest rail tunnel until the Pir Panjal Railway Tunnel surpassed it. [3]

The Jammu–Baramulla line is a railway track being laid to connect the Kashmir Valley in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir with Jammu railway station and thence to the rest of the country. The 338 km railway track will start from Jammu and end at Baramulla. It comes under the jurisdiction of the Firozpur railway division of Indian Railways' Northern zone. Sangameshwar Taluka is a taluka in Ratnagiri subdivision of Ratnagiri district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The headquarters for the taluka is the town of Devrukh. In Sangameshwar the two rivers Sonavi and Shastri flow together. The meaning of Sangama in Marathi is "confluence," and so the name "Sangameshwar". It is historically important as the place where Chhatrapati Sambhaji, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji was captured by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Chhatrapati Sambhaji was tortured and executed in Tulapur.

Bhoke railway station is a station on the Konkan Railway. The preceding station on the line is Ukshi railway station, and the next station is Ratnagiri railway station. There is a 6.5-kilometer-long tunnel known as Karbude Tunnel located on the Konkan Railway, situated between UKSHI and Bhoke station. Karbude Tunnel is the longest tunnel on the Konkan railway line. It remained India's longest rail tunnel until the Indian Government approved the planning and construction of the Pir Panjal Railway Tunnel. The Bhoke railway station on the Konkan railway track (line) lies between two railway tunnels.

Ratnagiri railway division is one of the two railway divisions under Konkan Railway of Indian Railways. This railway division was formed on 26 January 1998 and its headquarters is located at Ratnagiri in the state of Maharashtra of India.

The Ratnagiri–Madgaon Passenger is a passenger train belonging to Konkan Railway that runs between Ratnagiri and Madgaon Junction in India. It is operated with 50101/50102 train numbers, with one train daily in each direction. There is also a faster Ratnagiri – Madgaon Express (10101) daily service.
