Undawn is a survival game developed by Lightspeed Studios and published by Level Infinite on June 15, 2023. It is a zombie-themed game.

Development and release

Undawn had more than 300 developers and was considered a "key" game developed in-house by Tencent, with an alleged budget of approximately CN¥1 billion (around US$140 million). [3] [4] It was first announced in March 2021. [5] A May 2023 trailer revealed that the game would feature actor Will Smith. [2] [6] [7] The game was released on June 15, 2023, for Android, iOS, and Windows. [1] Garena published the game on June 29 for select Southeast Asia countries. [8]

Reception

According to a report by Reuters published on March 21, 2024, Undawn "flopped spectacularly", generating a revenue of $287,000 in the previous month, according to research firm Appmagic. [10] [4] Some reviewers noted that the game was relatively unheard of before the report, despite it featuring Smith. [11] [12]

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! was a mobile endless runner game developed and published by King, that was initially soft launched in Malaysia in 2020 and was released worldwide in 2021. The game showcased the Crash Bandicoot series' characters and fictional universe in the context of a runner game. Players controlled Crash or his sister Coco, running through levels and defeating enemies using weaponry crafted from collectible ingredients. Players could use cosmetic skins to increase their amount of gathered resources and could engage in asynchronous multiplayer gameplay by competing for survival in procedurally generated levels.
