Union Township is a township in Nodaway County, Missouri, United States. [2] At the 2020 census, its population was 441. [3] It contains 48 sections. [4] The village of Pickering is located south of center a mile west of the One Hundred and Two River and seven miles north of Maryville.
Union Township was established in May 1856 when the northern portion of Polk Township was split off because of a court order. [4] In 1871 Hopkins Township was created out of it. [4]
