History
The 1961 Arkansas General Assembly established Petit Jean Vo-Tech as the state's second adult vocational-technical school. The first building was completed in July 1963 and classes began in September. The school initially awarded diplomas in occupational-specific areas.
In 1991, the General Assembly converted Petit Jean Vo-Tech to a degree granting two-year college, Petit Jean Technical College. The conversion permitted expansion of the curriculum to include technical, academic & workforce education; community education; and adult education. In 1997, the College again made a name change to Petit Jean College. Finally, in 2001, Petit Jean College merged with the University of Arkansas System and became the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton.
In 2018, the College opened the Workforce Training Center that expanded facilities for technical education, non-credit workforce training, and community education.
UACCM currently consists of 92 acres (370,000 m2) with 14 educational buildings and various support facilities.
A community college is a type of undergraduate higher education institution, generally leading to an associate degree, certificate, or diploma. Black River Technical College (BRTC) is a public community college in Pocahontas, Arkansas. It is named for the Black River which runs through the city. BRTC serves approximately 3,000 students annually through its degree programs, technical courses, and community educational offerings.
East Mississippi Community College (EMCC), formerly East Mississippi Junior College, is a public community college in Scooba, Mississippi. EMCC serves and is supported by Clay, Kemper, Lauderdale, Lowndes, Noxubee and Oktibbeha counties in east central Mississippi. The college has two principal campuses in Scooba and Mayhew, Mississippi and offers courses at five other locations. One of fifteen community colleges in Mississippi, EMCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award the Associate of Applied Science degree and the Associate of Arts degree.
Delcastle Technical High School is a public vocational-technical high school in unincorporated New Castle County, Delaware, near Wilmington, and is the largest of four high schools within the New Castle County Vocational-Technical School District, which includes Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, Hodgson Vo-Tech High School in Glasgow, and St. Georges Technical High School in St. Georges. It houses the administrative offices of its respective school district.
Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) is a public community college in Ashland, Kentucky. It is an open-admissions college and part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. It was founded in 1938 to allow students the opportunity to obtain associate degrees, certificates and diplomas as well as provide vocational and technical training. The courses offered range from Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, business, education, health-related courses, information technology and a range of industrial technology degrees among others.
Paul M. Hodgson Vocational Technical High School is a public high school in Glasgow, Delaware and is one of four vocational-technical school high schools within the New Castle County Vocational-Technical School District.
Middle Georgia Technical College was a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and provided education services for a four-county service area in middle Georgia. The school's service area included Houston, Peach, Pulaski, and Dooly counties. MGTC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees, Diplomas, and Technical Certificates of Credit. Many of the school's individual technical programs were also accredited by their respective accreditation organizations.

Southeast Arkansas College (SEARK) is a public community college in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Formerly a vocational-technical school, the state legislature designated the school as a college in 1991 with the name Pines Technical College. It acquired its current name in 1998.
H. Councill Trenholm State Community College is a public, historically black community college in Montgomery, Alabama. The college was founded as a merger between John M. Patterson Technical College (1961) and H. Councill Trenholm State Technical College (1963) in Montgomery. SUN Area Technical Institute is a public, vocational education institution located in New Berlin, Pennsylvania. SUN Area Technical Institute provides technical education to high school students from five public school districts in a three county region, including Lewisburg Area School District, Mifflinburg Area School District, Midd-West School District, Selinsgrove Area School District and Shikellamy School District. SUN Area Technical Institute also provides day and evening adult education for a fee charged to the students.
Arkansas State University Three Rivers, formerly known as College of the Ouachitas, is a public, two year college in Malvern, Arkansas. In 2020, it joined the ASU System and changed to its current name.
