Vienne is a landlocked department in the French region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It takes its name from the river Vienne. It had a population of 438,435 in 2019.

The canton of Châtellerault-2 is an administrative division of the Vienne department, western France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Châtellerault.

Communauté d'agglomération Grand Châtellerault is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Châtellerault.
