V44 is a brand of pure super premium wheat-vodka produced by the Bratislava-based company European Spirits and Liquor. Its name comes from numbers of sample variations. The basic vodka recipe is from a 1405 Baltic document, and is claimed to be the world's oldest officially registered surviving vodka recipe. V44 is 100% unflavoured. Its taste and consistency is mainly achieved by using a special type of bio wheat, a proprietary fermentation process and by the cold gravity filtration processes. The production volume each year is limited to the available specified wheat. V44 Vodka is 44% alcohol and kosher certified.

Vodka is a clear distilled alcoholic beverage. Different varieties originated in Poland, Russia, and Sweden. Vodka is composed mainly of water and ethanol but sometimes with traces of impurities and flavourings. Traditionally, it is made by distilling liquid from fermented cereal grains, and potatoes since introduced in Europe in the 1700's. Some modern brands use corn, sugar cane, fruits, honey, and maple sap as the base.
Corn flakes, or cornflakes, are a breakfast cereal made from toasting flakes of corn (maize). The cereal, originally made with wheat, was created by Will Kellogg in 1894 for patients at the Battle Creek Sanitarium where he worked with his brother John Kellogg who was the superintendent. The breakfast cereal proved popular among the patients and Kellogg subsequently started what became the Kellogg Company to produce corn flakes for the wider public. A patent for the process was granted in 1896, after a legal battle between the two brothers.

In 2008, SKYY expanded the SKYY Vodka line with seventeen new flavors, referred to as SKYY Infusions. These SKYY Infusions are made with fruit.
Svedka is a mid-priced brand of vodka owned by New York-based Constellation Brands. The product name is a portmanteau of the words Sverige or Svenska and "vodka". The spirit is unaged 40% alcohol. A one-liter bottle is produced using about 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) of wheat and spring water. Svedka is bottled unflavored, and in citron, cherry, clementine, raspberry, vanilla, blue raspberry, and piña colada flavors.
