Vicarage Crossing Halt railway station was a station in Minera, Wrexham, Wales. The station was opened on 1 May 1905 and closed on 1 January 1931. [1] [2]
The Wrexham and Minera Railway or Wrexham and Minera Branch was a railway line in North Wales between the city of Wrexham, the village of Brymbo where it served the Brymbo Steelworks, and the lead mines and limeworks at Minera. A further branch ran from Brymbo to Coed Talon, where it connected with lines to Mold. The system was constructed in several stages between 1844 and 1872, while the various lines making up the system closed in 1952, 1972 and 1982.

Moorgate Halt railway station was opened on 1 January 1912 on the London and North Western Railway route from Stalybridge to Huddersfield. The station was only ever served by trains from Oldham to Delph via Greenfield. The station closed on 2 May 1955 when this service, known locally as the Delph Donkey, was withdrawn. The location of Moorgate Halt is now marked by a foot crossing over the railway at Uppermill, although no trace of the station remains. Nearby can be seen the foundations of Delph Junction signal box, where trains used to receive the token giving them authorisation to enter the single line section to Delph.
Utterby Halt was a railway halt on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the village of Utterby in Lincolnshire between 1905 and 1961. The station, which opened as part of a new motor train service between Grimsby Town and Louth, is reputed to be haunted by the ghost of a ganger killed on the level crossing in 1953. The line through Utterby remained open for freight until December 1980.
Fotherby Halt was a railway halt on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the village of Fotherby in Lincolnshire between 1905 and 1961. The station was opened on the site of a previous station named Fotherby Gate House which had closed in 1872. The second station closed in 1961, but the line through it remained open for freight until December 1980. The line through the station could be reopened by the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway as part of its extension south from Ludborough to Louth.
The Wye Valley Railway was a standard gauge railway that ran for nearly 15 miles (24 km) along the Lower Wye Valley between the towns of Chepstow and Monmouth, crossing several times between Wales and England. Opened on 1 November 1876, it was leased to, and worked by, the Great Western Railway (GWR), before being fully absorbed by the GWR in 1905.

Frodingham railway station was a railway station in Frodingham, Lincolnshire, England. It was open by the Trent, Ancholme, and Grimsby Railway on 1 October 1866 and, like all the others built by that company, had staggered platforms set around the level crossing on the Brigg Road. The first station here was closed in autumn 1886, when a new Frodingham station, built by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway, was opened, to the west of the Brigg Road level crossing. This station was suffixed "and Scunthorpe" at some date and was closed in 1928, when the LNER opened a new station which it named Scunthorpe nearer to the town centre.
Kingston Crossing Halt railway station was a halt on the Watlington and Princes Risborough Railway which the Great Western Railway opened in 1906 to serve the Oxfordshire village of Kingston Blount. The opening of the halt was part of a GWR attempt to encourage more passengers on the line at a time when competition from bus services was drawing away custom.
Llys Halt in Gwynedd, Wales, was on the Ruabon to Barmouth line. There was no passing place or freight activity here.
Grainsby Halt was a railway halt on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the hamlet of Grainsby in Lincolnshire between 1905 and 1952. The station, which opened as part of a new motor train service between Grimsby and Louth, was opened to serve a Victorian hall situated 2 miles (3.2 km) to the west. The station, one of the smallest to be taken over by British Railways on nationalisation in 1947, never really justified its existence and closed in 1952 following a period of temporary closure during the Second World War. The line through Grainsby remained open for freight until December 1980.

Pedairffordd Halt railway station was a station on the Tanat Valley Light Railway, located 1.3 miles south of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Powys, Wales in the hamlet Pedair-Ffordd. The station opened in 1904 and closed in 1951. There station was located on the east side of a level crossing.
Redhurst Crossing railway station was a minor station on the Leek and Manifold Light Railway, located between Wetton Mill railway station, Staffordshire and Thor's Cave railway station. Not much is documented about the halt, and the line which ran through it is now the Manifold Way.
Evesham Road Crossing Halt railway station served the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England from 1904 to 1916 on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
Boat Yard Crossing Halt railway station was a short-lived station on the Tarleton Branch. It was situated near the River Asland and served as the only intermediate station on the line. The site has long since been demolished and is now occupied by a housing estate.
