101.5 Kiss FM began as an online-only station on Live365 on November 16, 2024. On March 16, 2025, the service expanded to the FM band via translator W268BY and on August 29, 2025 the Station Launched on 1230 AM, offering a local Top 40 format for listeners in New York City, The Bronx, Yonkers, White Plains, portions of Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Over time, the station evolved toward a blend of pop, hip-hop, and rhythmic contemporary hits targeting younger audiences, especially Generation Z and Generation Alpha. On November 9th, 101.5 Kiss FM teamed up with WHUD to bring listeners a special blend of Variety music through Christmas Day. After the holidays, Kiss FM will return to its regular TikTok hits.
