WONY is located on the State University of New York College At Oneonta campus. WONY's antenna latitude is 42.452N and longitude is 75.064W. The studios are located on the basement floor of the Hunt Union, across from the Red Dragon Theater and next to the Dragon Express mailroom. The main control room of the station ("Studio A") contains the on-air equipment: the console, the main engineering rack, five microphones, two CD players (for rotation), a minidisc player, two turntables, a computer, and auxiliary cables to connect to DJs' personal equipment. The Music Library houses WONY's collection - at last approximation, it exceeded 12,000 CDs. As of April 2013, "Studio B" is now being used to record News and Station ID's. The second News Studio ("Studio C"), which was outfitted as a small recording space, is now the Operations Director's workspace, as well as a storage space. Studio B contains an Alesis mixer, a Shure SM7B microphone, and a customized computer. The news is recorded into WAV format using Adobe Audition software. The Operations room houses WONY's important documents, miscellaneous equipment, and webcasting server. The Music Office is a place for the genre directors to work. CDs are sorted and reviewed here, using the station's Macintosh G3. WONY is also home to the Sparaco Lounge, which is named after the station's first General Manager, Mr. Gary Sparaco.
In January 2018, the State University of New York College At Oneonta announced the station's move from Alumni Hall to Hunt Union with an expected completion before the beginning of the following semester.
In January 2020, official plans were confirmed for the station's move to Hunt Union, which anticipated completion in September 2020.
In October 2020, the move from Alumni Hall to Hunt Union was completed, a month after the anticipated completion.

The station opened studios at Anglia Ruskin University and Fitzwilliam College and started broadcasting in 2012 from these locations after having spent its first 32 years located in Churchill College. Cam FM once held the world record for the longest team broadcast marathon, at 76 hours, and following the significant technical overhaul as a result of the two new studios in 2012, provided the first-ever broadcast media coverage of the Oxford vs Cambridge Women's Boat Race from Dorney Lake, as well as live outside broadcasts from Newmarket Races and the Varsity Ski Trip.

WCUA is the college radio station broadcast from The Catholic University of America. Due to a lack of a license to broadcast at their designated frequency at 97.5 MHz FM and how the antenna is located at a building different from the studio, the station currently only broadcasts over the internet at their website.
WHUS is a non-commercial educational FM college radio station. It transmits with 4,400 watts on 91.7 MHz from the University of Connecticut (UConn) in Storrs to audiences in Connecticut, southern Massachusetts and western Rhode Island. WHUS operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year as a community radio station that features members of the student body and the local community.

The station is licensed to and owned by Lewis University. Lewis University is a private Roman Catholic and Lasallian university with an enrollment of around 6,800 students. The station is a member of the National Association of Broadcasters, Illinois Broadcasters Association, and Broadcast Education Association.
Atlantic Studios is the recording studio network of Atlantic Records. Although the historic recording studio was located at 1841 Broadway, in New York City, Atlantic Recording Studios was initially located at 234 West 56th Street from November 1947 until mid-1956. When the Shorty Rogers and His Giants disc of 33.33 rpm called Martians Come Back! was issued in August 1956, the address of Atlantic Recording Studios had relocated to 157 W 57th Street. The studio was the first to record in stereo due to the efforts of Tom Dowd. The new Atlantic Studios includes a network of label-operated studios spanning New York, Atlanta, and California.
Realistic is a brand produced by RadioShack, a division of Tandy Corporation, to market audio and video products for home use. The brand name was phased out in the mid 1990s and discontinued in 2000, then returned briefly in 2016.
