Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) is a state network of PBS member television stations and NPR member radio stations serving the U.S. state of Georgia. It is operated by the Georgia Public Telecommunications Commission, an agency of the Georgia state government which holds the licenses for most of the PBS and NPR member stations licensed in the state. The broadcast signals of the nine television stations and 19 radio stations cover almost all of the state, as well as parts of Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
WUWG, FM 90.7, is the radio station that formerly broadcast at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, and is now a part of the Georgia Public Broadcasting radio state network. This station is one of several in the GPB system that also produces its own programming; however, the vast majority of the broadcast day is a simulcast of the statewide feed. That feed is also duplicated locally both by GPB's WJSP-FM in Warm Springs and WGPB-FM in Rome, with most NPR programming also carried by non-GPB station WABE from nearby Atlanta. Several programs are also duplicated on Atlanta's WRAS, most of whose broadcast day was involuntarily taken from Georgia State University students in June 2014, resulting in programs like Morning Edition and All Things Considered being aired in the Carrollton area on no fewer than five different frequencies at once for seven total hours every weekday. Originally licensed to the university and operated entirely by students, WUWG was transferred outright to GPB in 2004, though it is unclear under what circumstances. When GPB consolidated broadcasting operations in its Atlanta offices in 2008, Dr. Brad Yates, chair of the UWG Mass Communications department, made advances to start a new student-run radio station.
WSVH is a 96,000-watt public radio station broadcasting from Savannah, Georgia, and transmitting from the WVAN-TV 9 tower to the west in Pembroke, Georgia, north of Fort Stewart. It provides the radio service of Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) serves the upper Georgia coast and areas well inland, and adjacent areas of far southern South Carolina.
Valdosta State University is a public university in Valdosta, Georgia. It is one of the four comprehensive universities in the University System of Georgia. As of 2019, VSU had over 12,000 undergraduate and graduate students. VSU also offers classes at Moody Air Force Base north of Valdosta in Lowndes County.
WRAS is a non-commercial FM radio station in Atlanta, Georgia, licensed to Georgia State University. Its schedule is split between college radio format airing from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and public radio programming from Georgia Public Broadcasting airing from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Student programming was formerly funded by the university's student activity fee, and currently by money supplied by GPB for station maintenance. The Album 88 and 88.5 GPB Atlanta formats are both programmed for 24 hours a day, with each available on separate internet streams, and Album 88 is also available full-time on WRAS's HD2 subchannel.
WTSH-FM 107.1, branded as La Raza 102.3/107.1, is an FM radio station in northwest Georgia, and reaching into northwest metro Atlanta, Georgia. Originally assigned to Rockmart, its city of license is now Aragon, west-northwest of Atlanta, and east of Rockmart. The broadcast licensee is Woman's World Broadcasting and operated by Rome Radio Partners, LLC. From June 23, 2014 to September 24, 2018, it was operated by Cox Media Group via a local marketing agreement (LMA). The station's supposed main studio is located on John Davenport Drive in Rome, Georgia.
WUSB is a non-commercial radio station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to Stony Brook, New York. The station is owned by the State University of New York, with studios located on the second floor of Stony Brook University's West Side Dining facility, and its transmitter is located in Farmingville, New York. WUSB is a free-form radio station, staffed by more than 150 volunteers who devote their time and energy for the love of music and free-form radio. The station is partially listener-supported.
WWNO is a public, non-commercial radio station in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is owned by the University of New Orleans, offering a news and information radio format with some jazz programs on weekends. Studios and offices are located on the fourth floor of the UNO library. The transmitter is off Behrman Highway in the Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans.
WILL-FM is a public, listener-supported radio station owned by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and licensed to Urbana, Illinois, United States. WGPB FM 97.7 is a public radio station in Rome, Georgia. It is part of the Georgia Public Broadcasting radio network, a state network which in turn is a member of National Public Radio, Public Radio Exchange, and American Public Media. Unlike most stations on the GPB network, WGPB does not completely simulcast with the network. WGPB also produces its own programs. The studios are located at Georgia Highlands College's Heritage Hall campus in downtown Rome, from which locally produced programming originates. The station began broadcasting as WGPB at 5 AM on June 30, 2006.
WEOS is a college radio station licensed to Geneva, New York, broadcasting primarily on 89.5 FM across the Finger Lakes region of New York. It also broadcasts on a smaller relay transmitter on 90.3FM in Geneva. The station is owned by The Colleges of the Seneca, Inc., the legal name of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. The board of trustees of the colleges are the owners, with the current President Mark Gearan as its chair.

WPPR (88.3) is a public radio station in Demorest, Georgia. Originally, WPPR had the call letters WDEM, but changed to WPPR on August 19, 1996. It is part of the Georgia Public Broadcasting radio network, which in turn is a member of National Public Radio, Public Radio International, and American Public Media. Unlike many stations of the GPB network, WPPR does not only broadcast simulcasts from GPB. WPPR also produces its own programming about the local area including Habersham County. One of the community features, Community Life in Northeast Georgia, is an educational and informative program about an area that is not well known. WPPR's studios are located on the Piedmont College campus in Demorest. This allows for Piedmont Mass Communications students to work directly with WPPR as interns.
WNGH-FM is an NPR-member public radio station, licensed to Chatsworth, Georgia, United States. The station is currently owned by Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), which the station simulcasts all radio programming from. It transmits from atop a mountain in the west-southwestern part of Fort Mountain State Park, having moved in May 2008 to the tower of sister television station WNGH-TV.
WRGC-FM, 88.3 FM, is a public radio station licensed to and operated by Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia. The station is an affiliate of Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) and its format includes classical and jazz music, NPR news and locally produced programs.
KRBM is a radio station licensed to Pendleton, Oregon. The station is owned by Oregon Public Broadcasting, and airs OPBs news and talk programming, consisting of syndicated programming from NPR, APM and PRI, as well as locally produced offerings.
