Archie Mason Griffin is an American former football running back who played with the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and is the only two-time Heisman Trophy winner in NCAA history, 1974–1975, considered one of the greatest college football players of all time. Griffin won four Big Ten Conference titles with the Buckeyes and was the first player to ever start in four Rose Bowls. He was selected in the first round by the Bengals in the 1976 NFL draft.
Craig Krenzel is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. As the starting quarterback, he led their 2002 team to a national championship. He played professionally in the NFL for one season with the Chicago Bears in 2004.
Keith Alan Byars is an American sports broadcaster and former professional football player. He played as a fullback and tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets. He was selected in the first round by the Eagles in the 1986 NFL draft. He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Bishop Dwenger High School is a co-educational college preparatory high school in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne–South Bend in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. Dwenger is named after Joseph Gregory Dwenger, the second Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne–South Bend.
Howard Albert "Hopalong" Cassady was an American professional football halfback and split end who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1955. Cassady played in the NFL for eight seasons, seven of them for the Detroit Lions, with whom he won the 1957 NFL Championship Game. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1979.
Centerville High School is a public school of secondary education for grades 9–12 located in Centerville, Ohio, USA, situated 10 miles (16 km) south of Dayton. It is the only high school in the Centerville City School District, which also includes three middle schools, six elementary schools and two K–1 schools, or "primary villages". He was the first overall pick of the 1979 NFL draft, and played professionally for the CFL's Montreal Alouettes and the NFL's Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers.

Deshaun Leroy Thomas is an American former professional basketball who last played for LDLC ASVEL of the French LNB Pro A and the EuroLeague. Standing at 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m), he played the small forward and power forward positions. Thomas played college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was selected 58th overall in the 2013 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs.
Braxton Marcellus Miller is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was their starting quarterback from 2011 to 2013, before moving to the wide receiver position in 2015 after sustaining a shoulder injury. He was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft.

Tuf Jarred Borland is an American college football coach and former professional linebacker. He is a graduate assistant for the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a position he has held since 2023. He played college football at the Ohio State University. After going undrafted in the 2021 NFL draft, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings. He appeared in two games with Minnesota during the 2021 season, but was released in 2022.
