North Side High School is a secondary school in the Fort Wayne school system, serving the north central neighborhoods of Fort Wayne.
Designed by noted architect Charles R. Weatherhogg (1872–1937) and established 1927, North Side High School has been dedicated to giving the best education available. Recently, it has had a massive renovation to accommodate the growing number of students expected to attend in coming years. The North Side High School Gym was home to the Fort Wayne Pistons of the Basketball Association of America (later the National Basketball Association) from 1941 to 1952.

Bishop Luers High School is a small Catholic high school located in the southside of Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. Bishop Luers is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. The school was founded in 1958 by the Franciscan Fathers of the Saint John the Baptist Province in Cincinnati, Ohio, along with the Sisters of Saint Francis Province in Mishawaka, Indiana. The first bishop of the diocese, John Henry Luers, is the namesake of the school.

William Henry Boedeker, Jr. was a halfback in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) and National Football League (NFL) who played for the Chicago Rockets, the Cleveland Browns, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers.
Richard Stewart Cutter King was an American football running back. He played college football for Harvard University and was selected as an All-American at halfback) in 1915. In 1916, he signed with the Pine Village professional football team, becoming one of the first eastern football stars to play professional football. He also played professionally for the Hammond Pros, Milwaukee Badgers, Rochester Jeffersons, and St. Louis All-Stars.

Robert George Cowan was an American football halfback who played three seasons in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) between 1947 and 1949. Cowan played for the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Colts.
Charles R. Weatherhogg was an American architect from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Donington, England and attended the Art Institute of Lincoln in Lincolnshire. He worked for an architect in Lincolnshire before coming to the United States to see the 1893 World's Fair, lived in Chicago for a year, and settled in Fort Wayne in 1892.
Richard A. Hickox was an American basketball player, best known for his college career at the University of Miami (UM), where he was the school's first basketball All-American. Hickox later coached at the college and high school levels.
