webCRM is a Danish software company founded in Holte north of Copenhagen and since August 2017 based in Copenhagen at Vibenshuset. It provides a web-based, hosted (cloud based) platform for customer relationship management (CRM) called webCRM.
Holte is a suburban district in Rudersdal Municipality on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. The local town centre is centred on Holte station and is surrounded by extensive areas of single-family, detached homes as well as several lakes and forests. The district has merged with the old villages of Søllerød and Øverød which both belong to Holte postal district. Gammel Holte, a few kilometres to the east, also in Rudersdal Municipality but merged with the urban area of neighbouring Hørsholm, predates what is now called Holte by several hundred years; in the past Holte was formally referred to as Ny Holte to distinguish the two.[1]
The webCRM system can structure email marketing, systemize business activities, manage sales and create budgets as well as organize quotations, pipeline management, website integration and mobile access.
Email marketing is the act of sending a commercial message, typically to a group of people, using email. In its broadest sense, every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing. It usually involves using email to send advertisements, request business, or solicit sales or donations, and is meant to build loyalty, trust, or brand awareness. Marketing emails can be sent to a purchased lead list or a current customer database. The term usually refers to sending email messages with the purpose of enhancing a merchant's relationship with current or previous customers, encouraging customer loyalty and repeat business, acquiring new customers or convincing current customers to purchase something immediately, and sharing third-party ads.
The company webCRM employs 40 people in Denmark and worldwide and has partners in 8 countries (Finland, Germany, Holland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom). The webCRM customer database contains more than 15.000 users from over 2.000 companies worldwide in manufacturing, professional services, media, telemarketing, training, property retail and management, IT, consulting etc.[ citation needed ]
