Welcome is an important At-Grade interchange metro station on the East-West Corridor of Red Line and on the North-South Corridor of the Pink Line of the Delhi Metro. [1] It was one of the first stations during the Phase 1 and Phase 3 of the Delhi metro. [2] It is located a short walk away from Shyam Lal College, Delhi University. [3]

One interesting thing about the Inderlok station is that the Green Line meets the Red Line perpendicularly here, unlike all the other interchange stations. This design choice ended the possibility of extending the line in the future.
