The Brea Mall is a shopping mall located in the Orange County city of Brea, California. Since 1998, the mall has been owned and operated by the Simon Property Group. It is home to four major department stores, 179 specialty shops and boutiques, and a food court. It is 1,319,599 sq ft (122,594.8 m2). The anchors are Macy's, Macy's Men's & Home, JCPenney, and Nordstrom with one vacant anchor last occupied by Sears that has yet to be redeveloped into Life Time Fitness, retail, entertainment, and apartments.

Great Lakes Mall is a shopping mall in Mentor, Ohio on Mentor Avenue, approximately 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Cleveland. The mall now has 126 stores. The anchor stores are Round 1 Entertainment, Dillard's, Planet Fitness, JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Macy's. There is 1 vacant anchor store that was once Sears. The mall was opened in 1961 as the first developed by Ohio's Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. Later, the mall was expanded to become one of the oldest major enclosed shopping malls in Ohio. Olive Garden, BJ's Brewhouse, Hobby Lobby, Outback Steakhouse, Barnes & Noble and Atlas Cinemas Stadium 16 are located in the mall parking lot. The mall contains about 1 million square feet. On May 28, 2014 it was announced by Simon Property Group that they would transfer Great Lakes Mall to its new spin off Washington Prime Group. Washington Prime Group later became WP Glimcher and then back to Washington Prime Group. In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Great Lakes Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties. Dillard's North closed in May 2017, consolidating the men and women's sections into one building. Sears closed in September 2017 due to the store's lease ending. On January 6, 2021, it was announced that Macy's would be closing in April 2021 as part of a plan to close 46 stores nationwide due to the lease expiring.

Independence Mall is the only enclosed shopping mall in Wilmington, North Carolina. It opened in 1979 with anchor stores Belk-Beery, JCPenney, and Sears. A later expansion added a new wing and Dillard's store to the center after Westfield Group purchased the mall. The mall is located on Oleander Drive and Independence Blvd east of downtown Wilmington. The mall has a food court and no longer features a carousel.

South County Center is a shopping mall located in Mehlville, Missouri, at the intersection between Interstate 55, Interstate 255, and U.S. Route 50. It opened on October 17, 1963 and was designed by Victor Gruen. it included a dome-roofed Famous-Barr, which became Macy's in 2006, a National Supermarket occupying the basement floor, which closed in 1973, and later JCPenney as anchors. Stix, Baer & Fuller,, was added in 1973 along with a new wing of stores. A Sears, a food court, and additional mall stores were added in 2001. In 2004, Several stores and restaurants were added that could be accessed from outside the mall including Qdoba, Applebee's, Noodle's and Company, and Border's.
